Thanks for the article on the fans' efforts to save Moonlight. CBS made a poor business decision in both deciding to drop the show, and in alienating its fan base. No product can afford to lose 8 million consumers, no matter what the Flaming Eye execs may say otherwise. I sincerely hope that SciFi will take advantage of their lapse in judgement and add Moonlight to their roster. As to the show needing to relocate to NYC, that would, at least IMHO, be an awesome move for the show. LA always felt a bit too...sunny to support this show. It would actually work well with this whole "Legion" concept that Harry Werksman revealed at the MoonlightCon...I'd love to see the relocation spun as a solution to the "vampire apocalypse". As to Moonlight's replacement? The X-List? Sorry, you lost me at the woman shrieking how she had to get married. And Swingtown? The less said about this trainwreck of a show, the better.

Moonlight is the best show around. it has something for everyone: action, adventure, romance, comedy, drama...I have even gotten my husband to watch, and he says it is good. I can't wait to see Moonlight on SciFi or USA.

I really hope that Sci Fi picks Moonlight up- I'd love to see more of my favorite vamps, and Sci Fi would give them a wonderful home. They deserve a second season- definitely one of the best shows around.

This is hopeful news - we love Moonlight and its cast so much! It would be a great fit for Sci-fi, meshing perfectly into their cool line-up. It would also bring a few million viewers to Sci-Fi! We'll be keeping our fingers crossed!

Since Harry's comments on 5/23 about talks for a possible Season 2 on Sci-Fi and Mick having to relocate to NY, TV Guide reported that the possibility was that Sci-Fi would re-reun Season 1 episodes only and NOT produce new episodes that are way out of their reach monetarily. Can anyone with knowledge of this address it?

So long pirates, hello Vampires! Vampires are going to be BIG. Vamp movie 'twilight' comes out in December. HBO is offering "True Blood" and another movie 'Dark Shadows' Is drawing A-listers to consider the lead. Can't believe CBS allowed this one to get away, because everyone is going to want to cash in on vampire popularity.

Having Moonlight on the Sci-Fi channel would be awesome! Especially if they pair if up with Stargate Atlantis (since the Wraith are very close to being like vampires anyways). Especially since BSG is in it's final series, I think the slot would fit perfect on Friday's in to replace BSG's timeslot! I love this show and anything Sci-Fi, so to have Moonlight on this channel would improve Sci-Fi's ratings a lot. Let's keep Moonlight alive and thriving, so say the fans!!

It was so disheartening to hear that CBS had canceled Moonlight, but the upswelling of fan support from Moonlight (and Jericho) fans has been enormous and very inspiring. Moonlight appeals to men and women, young and old. It defies attempts to stick it into a particular genre. Thanks for giving our efforts the attention--we are determined to find a home for Moonlight, and the network that takes us on will NOT be sorry.
