Moonlight: What's Next for Sophia Myles?

Moonlight has been canceled by CBS but it doesn't mean that its cast members are moping around this whole time. While lead star Alex O'Loughlin has raft of movie offers to read through, on-screen love interest Sophia Myles is already waiting for the release for next thriller project called Outlander.

“It will be out sometime this year. It's set in 709 A.D. I play a Viking warrior princess in a small Viking village. Right at the beginning of the story, an alien ship crash lands onto Planet Earth, and onboard is Jim Caviezel, from The Passion of the Christ, and this terrifying Morwin, that looks like a dragon/bull. He's brought that with him, from a galaxy far, far away. It's an epic adventure, where we try to slay the beast. I haven't seen that mixture of period and science fiction before, so that was interesting to me,” the Moonlight actress told MediaBlvd Magazine.

Moonlight isn't done yet! We, the Moonlight fans, are fighting for a second season of Moonlight and working hard for another network to pick up this fantastic show. Sophia is a VERY important part of the show and we just love her. I wish her all the best but are working to continue to see her as "Beth" in Moonlight. Sophia is a very talented actress and no one could play beth like she does. 8 million fans will follow Moonlight, Sophia, Alex and Jason where ever the show goes!

I wish the best for Sophia Myles and I hope her movies do well. I would of loved Moonlight to have another season but I guess it will not happen. It was a great show and I will miss it.

I hope the Moonlight cast don't take new jobs just yet.... we fans will continue to fight to find Moonlight a new Network until we prevail! Moonlight WILL be back!!

I seem to recall reading something very recently about Moonlight being picked up by the CW network. Perhaps I am mistaken.

Scratch that....The CW is apparently considering the possibility of picking up the show. My bad.

There are so mant moonlight fans at blackwhitemeet.com --- a online dating mecca for black and white singles. I am one there. We often read news and discuss it there.
