I still think a move to the CW would work. Like someone else said, even if half the viewers switch to the CW it would still make the CW happy and it would make us loyal fans happy.

See, it's not as simple as you say either. If Moonlight were truly dead... if the shopping to other networks wasn't working, Moonlight fans would be told to stop by Silver and/or Warner Brothers. The fact that they're still going strong means that there IS hope.

I would love if the CW picked up Moonlight. I doubt they would but girl can daydream. It would be great for both the show and the network. The CW is not doing that well and it is losing viewers and money. They should add Moonlight so that everybody would be happy.

Granted that not all Moonlight viewers would migrate. However, given the stability of its audience (only lost 1.5% of its average viewers after the strike compared to 6% for CSI) it seems likely that many would move. And if even half moved it would still be one of the most watched shows. And that is before any CW viewers start joining in. As for CBS promoting their shows well, I will agree that they promote their established shows (such as CSI, Criminal Minds, NCIS) well. But they don't do well promoting their new shows. I watched CBS multiple nights before Moonlight was canceled and almost never saw any promos for it. That might be one reason why NONE of CBS's 2007 freshman dramas are on the schedule for 2008.

To be quite honest, I've never rallied for a show to stay on the air. I've always been the quiet mourner who sulks for a while, and then slowly moves on. I was a huge fan of Dead Like Me, which was pulled rather unexpectedly, and I didn't go to this extreme. There is something about Moonlight makes the fans want to save it. Moonlight fans raised SERIOUS funds in under 2 (two) days to place these ad's in Variety and THR, and have been donating to charities as well, in light of the recent disasters. What other group has organized a blood drive for their show? I think what you are seeing here is a group of people who are tired of having to suck it up when TV executives decide to pull the plug. I for one do not tend to watch TV, yet I tuned in for Moonlight.

Moonlight is a fantsastic show that would be an asset to any network. Moonlight's fanbase is well established now and rapidly growing worldwide and all the current media coverage has enhanced its appeal encouraging even more potential viewers. Makes for a great business opportunity to me CW.

Here's a business decision CBS could have made. Cancel Big Bang Theory and replace it with Moonlight. BBT got low ratings EVERY WEEK, lower than Moonlight's!!! So if we're talking "business" which one would have made more sense? That is, if you're trying to make room for more crap? Moonlight was a great show, which got cheated. Cheated by the writer's strike, cheated by CBS. I hope some network has the good sense to take the fans of this show and basically pissed off TV viewers seriously and take into consideration giving Moonlight a fair chance for once.

I cannot believe that there could be bigger idiots out there than CBS. They are soon going to see the errors of their thoughtless ways. It has happened too many times to devoted CBS viewers and many of them are fed up with their disregard of their opinion. Moonlight needs a home and you would lthink some little networks that are scrambling for viewers would be thankful to take on an award winning series with an audience that has some buying power. The viewers of Moonlight, buy cars, groceries, insurance, appliances and everything else that makes advertisers scramble to climb on board! Come on! Someone wake up and smell the coffee. The antiquated Neilsen ratings need to go. They went out long before DVR's were invented.

What is life if there is no hope? Wherever Moonlight goes, millions will follow, simple as that. Maybe not 8 million but half of that is still impressive for any cable network. I'm sure our drive to give our own blood on behalf of Alex O'Loughlin, Sophia Myles, Jason Dohring, Joel Silver, and every other person who has become so passionately involved in the cause should attest to that. We're willing to do whatever it is humanly possible to keep such wonderful programming on the air.

THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE, AND THERE ARE ALOT OF US. WE WILL NOT BE SATISFIED UNTIL WE HAVE DONE EVERYTHING POSSIBLE.
