Alex O'Loughlin, MoonlightMoonlight is dust. According to multiple sources, CBS has decided not to renew the freshman vampire drama for a second season, undoubtedly leaving many fans left wondering where it all went wrong.

Just one week ago, Moonlight was looking good to come back. Though the ratings weren't stellar, it routinely won it's time slot (though to be fair, 9pm on Fridays isn't exactly competitive). After the cancellation of Jericho, it seemed CBS would probably stick with at least one of its big cult fan favorites. This was not to be.

Uh oh. I sense some sort of unsuccessful fan campaign coming on.

After Jericho-it will do no good. Very sorry Moonlight will not be back-was hoping they would give them at least 13 new shows to see if they could pick up in the rating. With the strange season they never had a chance. I for one do not watch much on CBS and after this I will watch less.

Yeah. What assiut said. CBS is really sticking it to TV fans. Jericho and now Moonlight, both shows with huge fan followings get cancelled, while CBS plans to introduce more bland boring programming next fall in addition to their mostly bland boring current line-up.

CBS who? CBS just lost a loyal view of many of its series. I will tune in for Moonlight--the last episode, and any repeats they show, and after that, my television will no longer recognize any CBS affiliates.
