I'm incredibly upset. I don't know why I bother getting interested in new shows b/c they always get canceled and leave me immensely frustrated. i absolutely love this show. It was completely different from anything else that's on. I am extremely unhappy right now.

Primetime Pilot Panic: 'Moonlight' To CW?
EXCLUSIVE: I've just been told by an insider that "there is a chance, only a chance" that Media Rights Capital which will be programming Sunday's two hours on the CW "may elect to take Moonlight as one of those two hours". This is developing to be quite a behind-the-scenes drama because the order came from Warner Bros TV this afternoon to start tearing the Moonlight sets down. But now WBTV will wait until Friday. Before it was cancelled, it had more than twice the number of viewers on CBS than Gossip Girl despite all the hype. So Moonlight could wind up the most watched CW show. Stay tuned.

All CBS has managed to is rile the tribe.....if they're too dense to see what they had right in front of them then fine.......we'll pack our vampires and go somewhere we're appreciated.
Oh - and when we pack.....we're taking our I-tunes dollars, our UnBox dollars, all our free promotion, all our rabid fans, and all the money we spend on products sold by their advertisers with us.....I would hate to leave anything behind to mess up their precious little network.

I as a rule do not watch television - and I certainly do not watch assine comedy that is just pathetically scripted sarcasm and slapstick garbage.

First we aim at CW because they're looking.....and if they don't bite....then we just take our EIGHT MILLION fans and knock on other doors. We won't stop until we're safely in another line up where we are appreciated and loved.

CBS just doesn't learn. Look at what they decided to keep instead of Moonlight. Give me a break.

I am surprised at this news. I know it was not a blockbuster hit but It had been performing consistently it time period. Although now that I think about it I guess I should not be surprised. This show has suffered an excessive amount of behind the scenes chaos. Starting with the initial recasting of most of the key players and ending with the constant revolving door of show runners. I guess I should have seen the writing on the wall with the "You'll miss it when its gone promo" that CBS has been running. With Moonlight and New Amsterdam both gone where am I supposed to get my brooding immortal fix. I guess I have to go back to watching reruns of Angel. RIP Moonlight you will be missed.

what a dumb move!! consistently pissing off the fans is not good for the network (and why don't they just add CSI Chicago and CSI L.A. and CSI Houston and CSI Detroit....etc.) if that is the only show that they respect!!! LOL

This completely SUCKS! (pun intended)
I suppose this means that even the promised 6 episodes won't go ahead?
I'm with assuit, too ... all the way across the keyboard!!! And who needs ANOTHER inane block of "sitcomedy" anyway?!? What a total bummer. :[
