Okay everyone, here are the numbers for CBS to call and complain: New York: 212-975-3247 California: 323-575-2345 What you need to do is complain politely. Explain that not only are you upset about Moonlight (and how it won a People’s Choice Award for best new drama and doesn’t that mean anything) But also remark upon how CBS, year after year, puts on these new shows and then cancels them (some don’t even get more than a handful of episodes) without giving them a chance to momentum of “a buzz”. Give an example of how a show like “The X-Files" ranked 102nd out of 118 shows in its first season. It was a Science Fiction show that aired on Friday nights. Despite its low ranking it was picked up for a second season and now look what has happened to it. It is still going strong with a second movie after all these years. Why don’t networks do this for shows anymore? What incentive do viewers have these days to watch something new, when most likely it will be cancelled. This it NOT how a network should try to get and keep viewers. If they get thousands and maybe millions of calls like this, maybe they won’t do this anymore. Will this save Moonlight? Probably not (unfortunately) but at least maybe we, as viewers, can change this trend of “instant popularity or die” attitude the networks have for new shows. ![]()

It's a two edged sword. I think it would have done better had the WRITERS STRIKE not occurred and yet the writers deserved the attention too. This was fast becoming a cult following and Mick St John a GOD - I will miss Moonlight especially since they can't come up with an original thought or show to take its place - wait isn't that the writers domain? Shame on you writers, directors, producers, ptbs - you could have worked harder!!

It's been reported on another fansite that CW is currently in negotiations with WB regarding rights to the show. People are writing CW asking them to pick up the show. Since WB owns the show, people are also writing them asking them to find it a home. The emails posted are: CW: feedback@cwtv.com paul.mcguire@cwtv.com WB: peter.roth@warnerbros.com
