Alex O'Loughlin and Jason Dohring, MoonlightPreviously on Moonlight: Coraline gave Mick some of her French nobility super blood to temporarily cure him of his vampirism. Beth's DA boyfriend, who was planning on asking her to marry him, was killed by a gang member he was prosecuting.

Human Mick (Alex O'Loughlin) is enjoying his new life, which starts by waking up in a bed and drinking some coffee. Shirtless. Then he heads out for a day on the pier scarfing down hot dogs and scoping out babes. Then it's time for a stroll on the beach, with his shirt open. If this amount of shirtlessness is typical, I think I understand why Moonlight has so many fans. He meets up with Beth (Sophia Myles) for a picnic on the beach, where he buttons his shirt back up again.

This was a very interesting episode. I don't understand why vampires can't have sex with humans but I guess I will have to wait and see how this relationship can work. The kiss was great and I hope they do have sex so that Mick can finally tell Beth that he loves her. Josef and Mick kicking vampire asses was great and they looked so cool doing it. I hope we see more Josef and Mick fighting the bad guys.

Actually what Josef said was they CAN have sex. It ISN"T about physiology.

I am very happy to have Mick the vampire back. He appears to be embracing his vampire self that should be interesting.

Hmm, really? I must have misheard something, because it seemed to me that once Mick was a vamp again, he wouldn't be able to have sex with Beth, which is why Josef was so gung-ho about him doing it.

Josef said vampires can have sex, I would like to think so. I want to see it happen for Mick and Beth. Mick was way sexy with his open shirt take, but I think being the vampire fits him very well. It was great seeing Mick and Josef working as a team, hope to see more of there action togather.

Hey John ~

Thanks for the recap of tonight's episode of Moonlight. Fated to Pretend was worth the wait! Humor, tension, drama, vamped out fighting, romance..... more please One note tho ~ Josef said that vamps and humans CAN have sex. There is no physiological problem. Love Mick saying he has a tendency to bite down, to which Josef replies that some women like that. *swoon*

XO ~

OK, I changed it, guess I heard it wrong. This was actually the first time I'd watched this show since the pilot, which I didn't care for at all. But to be fair, this episode was pretty entertaining. Very fast-paced, Dohring was a hoot, and this was a MUCH better show than I remember. Is it just me, or has the show actually changed a lot and found it's footing, because I remember watching the pilot and thinking this show was totally unwatchable.
