Eric Winter Joins 'Moonlight'

When CBS’ Moonlight returns next month, viewers will be introduced to a new man in town who may stir up some trouble between vampire detective Nick (Alex O’Loughlin) and his mortal lady love Beth (Sophia Myles).

According to TV Guide’s Michael Aussielo, Eric Winter has been cast in the role of ADA Benjamin Talbot, an attractive, self-assured man who doesn’t live by any rules other than his own. His character will reportedly take interest in Beth, which won’t go well with Mick, who was cured of his vampirism in the final pre-strike episode and thus can finally pursue a relationship with the beautiful web news reporter.

I hope Moonlight is picked up for a second season. I like the show and the cast works well together. It is good to see Alex promoting the show all over the world. I hope he at least had a little fun as well. Boy traveling all over is a good way to promote this cool show.

Oh no...another love triangle! I thought the writers were more creative than that. Maybe he will be a vampire hunter in disguise?
Note to writers: Leave Mick and Beth alone!

Have to wonder why they killed off Beth's boyfriend and now bring in another man to make a love trangle.

I suspect that Josh was killed because Beth was about to marry him. By bringing in a new person it creates a different kind of setting. We'll see how this works.
