Cast of MoonlightMid-February, CBS announced the details of the post-strike return of several of its shows, one of which is the vampire drama, Moonlight.  The network scheduled the show's return for Friday, April 11.

However, according to Moonlight's official website on CBS.com, the four new episodes will actually begin airing two weeks later than the previously announced date.  In addition, a number of fan sites dedicated to the show are claiming the network has confirmed that Moonlight's return has indeed been pushed back to April 25.  The extra weeks will presumably be added to production time.

I hate tv networks why do they push around and make us wait to hear the fate of our tv shows. Watching new shows anymore is pointless.. they keep being cancelled

Although I'm not a fan of the show, I do feel for Moonlight fans because it totally stinks when networks play shenanigans with scheduling and such. That's really what almost killed Jericho, and I think that really is what killed Firefly.

New Amsterdam premieres this Tuesday. It's about a hot immortal dude who tries to save people while also dealing with a sticky love life. Since it's the same exact show, just watch that instead.
