| While Wentworth Miller has to put on fake tattoos for his role on FOX's Prison Break, Alex O'Loughlin has to cover up his body art whenever he takes his shirt off on CBS' Moonlight. In case you didn't know, the Australian actor presently has six authentic tattoos, which he revealed during an interview with Moonlightline.com. He is reportedly inked on each forearm, on each shoulder, over his right nipple and one on his lower back, though he also occasionally puts on cosmetic tattoos when his role calls for it just like in the movie The Invisible where he had a bluebird on his neck. | Alex has some very nice tattoos...two on each arm, a lizard over his right nipple and a "tramp stamp" beauty of black line art on his lower back. That's got to be a makeup person's nightmare, covering those. However, it's nice to see that Alex is "real". He's not one of those primped male beauties that seem to plague Hollywood, and I love him for it. Also, for the Moonlight Faniverse (TM), there is a Moonlight Convention planned for Memorial Day weekend 2008 in Los Angeles, CA. You can find more information at www.moonlightcon.com and/or moonlightline.com. Looking forward to seeing you there! |

| Alex's tattoos are great! I think the popularity of tattoos over the last decade or so is pretty evident. If writing an article about an actor covering up their tattoos is the only thing I could write about, I think I'd have to kick my own ass! |

| I have always been an Alex tattoo fan. His body art is too sexy, in my opinion. You have given us yet another wonderful Moonlight article, Kris! Thank you for keeping our show in the spotlight. | Wow, I never realized he had so many tattoos.....that's really awesome, especially for an actor. i would think that it would be harder to make it in the biz with tats covering your body...... He is really good-looking, by the way.... |

| I loved your article and I love Alex's tattoos. It is so devastating that Moonlight has been cancelled. I was reading over on www.moonlightline.com about all the plans that the fans have to try to save it. Let's hope it works. |

| aha! so they are real! There is this really creepy film called "Feed" I think and you can see him in there naked and I wondered if the tats were real or not. Cheers for clarifying that. I love tattoos and will be getting me a 3rd one soon - it is true once you started you will over the years add to the collection I am just getting into the show and considering there is much rubbish on tv (and lots of pansy vampire shows) they have a good one and slay it! |
