moonlightViewers presently know Alex O'Loughlin as private investigator/vampire Mick St. John who struggles with the repercussions of immortality and his love for a mortal woman on the CBS series Moonlight.  As an actor who worked his way to Hollywood's limelight, O'Loughlin works long hours and days to bring his latest TV series to life, having only little time for breaks, leisure and relaxation.  Nevertheless, he still finds time to share his blessings and participate in benevolent acts.

Most recently, O'Loughlin graced the first annual Toys for Tots charity campaign, which was hosted by the Pole Position Raceway in Corona, California on December 2.  He joined other celebrities like Kathryn Morris of Cold Case and Skeet Ulrich of Jericho, just to name a few.

I had an awful lot of fun interviewing Alex for the Monsters and Critics.com article. He really is a nice, down to earth person.Alex's comment that CBS knows we love the show is telling. They do know the fanbase is more than a little rabid.

You did a great job with the interview Leeser, so happy and a little jealous that you had the great opportunity to interview the great Alex O'Loughlin, he is mighty fine and seems so genuine and down to earth, no wonder the fans love him so much. I love moonlight and can't wait till this strike is over so we can see lots more of Mick and Beth.

You rock Lesser! I have read several articles where Alex talks about how the devoted (a.k.a. rabid) fans won't let CBS give Moonlight the boot.
