I think Coraline could not stand to see Mick happy, and she knew that becoming human was the only way to get him back. She knows he would do anything to become human again.

I love this show, but last week really threw me for a loop. OK, Coraline is human now? When did this happen? Thirty years ago? Yesterday? How come she hasn't aged! There's some "splaining" needed. I'm glad I found this site. I wasn't home last night, and this morning I get all settled in to watch my FAVORITE SHOW and it didn't record on my DVR. At first I thought my Hubby sabotaged its recording, but I see now that it's not on for a couple of weeks. God, I live for Friday nights.

someone brought up good points about coraline being human now, and for how long, as she has kept her good looks. i dont know if anyone remembers a show from the 80s called beauty & the beast, but it was the same premise. the two characters loved each other and the beast was always saving the girl but they could never be together...so i dont think beth and mick will ever be together. i was bummed too that it did not record and am thrilled there will be more in 2 weeks...

as alex stated in the interview that mick looks at beth through parental eyes.not good for the beth/mick relationship and they both have a change of feelings about each other/or see each other differently. they are supposed to find something in josef's building, that is the reason that josef thinks beth and mick will never work. hmmmmm.what if it turns out to be a lie to keep them apart and maybe thats the spinner for next year.who know's maybe they will get together in a dream, it wouldn't be real, it would only be a dream.if they cast them to far apart though i can see some people not wanting to watch because most of us want to see them interacting together. i can't wait to see what is going to happen.
