moonlightFor Sophia Myles, the opportunity to be a part of Moonlight came at just the right moment.  For years, she had been struggling with work in the U.K. acting scene, which she describes as “non-existent” now, and after sitting around for six months following her work on Howard McCain's upcoming science fiction film, Outlander, a big break finally came through for the 27-year-old English actress.  Although she was scared and quite hesitant at first to be away from her friends, family and life in England, she grabbed the chance to turn her dreams into reality by making the transition to American TV and moving to Los Angeles.  Now, she is popularly known as Beth Turner on the supernatural series and has become one of Hollywood's emerging celebrities with a solid following.

Moonlight is an awesome show! It is my favorite show on television now! Sofia Myles is absolutely perfect in the role of Beth Turner and the on-screen chemistry between her and Alex O'Loughlin is electric. I really can't imagine anyone else playing Beth other than Sofia. I do wish that Mick and Beth could get together sooner than later. There are so many angles to play here with the differences between them and the obstacles they face that even if they professed their love for each other, the storyline could easily continue.

Great job Sofia and welcome the the U.S.! We love you, Alex and Moonlight!

Long Live Moonlight!!!

How wonderful that Sophia has moved to LA--let's hope that's an indication of future episodes (and seasons) of Moonlight. She is fantastic and watching the chemistry between her and Alex is amazing. I hope LA becomes a home she'll love---we certainly love having her here. kmk

I hope that she continues to enjoy her time in Hollywood and works a great deal there. I think that she is such a talented actress and brings some wonderful qualities to Beth Turner

ML is my by far my favorite new show this season and Sophia is a major reason I watch. Her portrayal of Beth is fantastic. I hope we get to see her in this role for many seasons to come.

There is a strong underlying bond between Beth and Mick, but will they fight to keep it going.
As for myself, I say fight.

Hope there are enough fans out there to keep this show on the air, I believe with time this is a series that will age like good wine.
