CBS' Moonlight: Meet the Cast

CBS will attempt to give its fall lineup a boost with a new series entitled Moonlight. The upcoming series, which will take the Friday 9 pm niche, will feature a vampire/ private eye who struggles to exist with his immortal curse.

Moonlight features the lead character Mick as he tries to resist against his basic vampire nature, while he uses his sharpened vampire senses to help the living instead of preying on the human race. Of course, this goes against the beliefs of other vampires, most especially Coraline, his bloodsucking wife and eventually sparks conflict among the dark creatures. To add more complications, Mick has fallen for Beth Turner, a reporter tasked to investigate the sudden increase of unusual homicides in the area.

Sounds like they stole the concept from the show, "Angel," which was the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" spinoff show from a few years ago.

I've seen this already, I know I have...oh wait ...my bad..that was Joss Whedon's ANGEL...

This show is such a rip off !!!!I hope Whedon, Fox, Mutant Enemy..someone sues them !

While I love Angel, this sounds more like a cross between "Forever Knight" and "Blood Ties." I think I've seen enough vampire/p.i./cop shows for the time being, thanks. Maybe we could focus on werewolves, or maybe even a female vampire as the main character... I don't know, just something... different.

The actor playing the main character on "Moonlight," is Alex O'Loughlin. Putting aside the fact that he is blessed with being astonishingly attractive, he can act. If you want a preview of him, albeit in a much different role, he is currently playing Det. Kevin Hiatt, on Season 6 of FX's "The Shield."

This sounds familiar. Oh yea.. ANGEL. Geesh. You think they could come up with their own ideas. I hope Joss gets some money off them. Maybe he will make a Buffy or Angel movie with it.

I heard that Aussie actor ALEX O'LOUGHLIN is going out with Aussie princess HOLLY VALANCE (she is mega multi-talented, she used to be on NEIGHBOURS, now she is a singer/actress/artist/model & martial arts fighter).

Angel got married and is having an affair? Wow great season 6 preview! Oh wait my bad. Anyone notice this guys love interest is named BETH? What was Buffy's real name? Elizabeth right, whats another nickname for Elizabeth. Oh my God its Beth. Wow these writers are so original they couldnt even make up the ripped off tv shows ripped off characters names. What his detectives office's name Angel Investigations? Please
