Ok, let me clear up a few things here real quick for you guys. First of all, the reason this looks so much like Angel is because the show's Executive Producer is David Greenwalt. For those of you out there who are not "Scoobies" (die-hard BTVS fans), allow me to shed some light. David was one of the Writer/Producers for Buffy the Vampire Slayer and additionally became Co-Creator of the hit spin-off, Angel. So, as far as Joss Whedon getting paid for this, that's not going to happen, but you can bet he'll be at home watching it... and so will I. And so will you. And once the scoobies of the world all realize the David Greenwalt is on-board, then so will they. This show is bound for success already. Honestly, it doesn't really even have to be very good... even though it probably will be. Sure it's a bit of a re-make on an already established mega-hit tv series, but what difference does that make? If it's good it's good. It will never be as good as Joss was. I mean come on, s

Why do they have to do a remake? The original with Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd was good enough.

Maybe when the show crashes from lack of originality, the writers will kill off all the main characters in the last few episodes: the best thing about Forever Knight was the way the series ended.

These hacks just ripped off the great novels by Charlie Huston, and badly at that. Already Dead, and Old Dominion - shame on you Joel Silver.

I loved this show!!!! I admit I thought it would just be another vampire show but Alex O'Loughlin is phenomenal. I loved Angel but this has even more potential. Here's hoping CBS gives this show a chance.

I tihnk you should watch the show before you judge it as some ripoff of another show. I've actually watched both, and was a large fan of Angel, and to tell the truth, its NOTHING like Angel. Why don't you watch a show before you judge it? That's rude against the writer, creator and actors/actresses from this show.

I've been a fan of Buffy, Angle and even Forever Knight years ago...I've been watching Moonlight since it debuted, I think so far it's pretty good. Maybe it's a "re-made" version of the others, but it doesn't stop it from being pretty good so far. I'll continue to watch, it keeps my attention, and Alex looks GREAT!

This show is awesome!!! I've never watched Angel or Buffy anyway, so who cares. They couldn't have been as well made as this one. Keep up the great work!
