| I have a bit of a divergent question.... Why does he sleep in a freezer? Did he mention that in the pilot? Just curious.

| Okay so I changed my mind and moved the original post I made over to this thread since the other one hasn't moved at all. Here are my thoughts based on the 2 episodes I've seen so far: I really got tired / bored with this show in the premeire for some reason so I never bothered to tune back in.... Until last night, the preview caught my attention and I thought "this sounds like a good episode". I watched it and overall I was impressed. It seemed to be fairly well written, I found it entertaining. I think I'll give it another chance. The premise of this episode wasn't entirely original. I seem to recall an episode of buffy where humans were getting "high" by feeding off of vampires. And of course there's the whole angel/spike idea of hanging onto your humanity as a vampire. I apologize to the true fans if the above analogies offend you. (Much like the seemingly incessant comparisons of JourneyMan to Quantum Leap that bother me as I see NO similarity other than time travel - sorry straying off topic). Anyway I apologize as a newcomer to make such surface comparisons between moonlight and buffy/angel. Overall as I said, I really enjoyed last nights show and will give it another shot.

it's all good. I think most of us, at least at the beginning, drew comparisons to shows that we watched and enjoyed. As time went on, at least for me, it began to be it's own show ... stand on it's own.

Mick St. James is sexy! I find the chemistry between him and Beth hot. The shows have gotten better and I think it can really become a big hit if it has enough time to "gel". Hope the writer's strike doesn't make it come to an early end.

Obviously the person responsible for this article is a pompous, egotistical, self centered individual who only values their own opinion and no one else's. AS you can tell most everyone loves moonlight 77% I mean come on who can argue with those odds. Its a wonderful show that I wait all week to watch. I only wish if Mr. Mick ST. John was real he'd bite you in the neck just to shut you up. ..........Outraged

First of all, DEBBIE, have you noticed the poll? 77% say that Moonlight is "the best show EVER". Now if I was you, I would be thinking, "hmmm... I wonder why so many people like the show... maybe it's because my ridiculous and opinionated article is DEAD WRONG"! Holy crap! Have you even watched the show?? Alex O'Loughlin is extremely appealing. He is the hottest vampire ever! Oh my god, I can't even believe this. It makes me so mad that some people think SOOO highly of their opinion that they go around flaunting it and writing horrible, untrue articles about it. Well, let me tell you something, Debbie Chang, you are an awful reporter, at least in this case, and you need to go get some counseling for your extreme insensivity. Obviously, you didn't watch the last episode where the chemistry between Mick and Beth was overwhelming. You know, when she took the drug? Even though she was high, the chemistry was still there. And do you know why there are some differences in the "rules" of the

(*comment continued*) vampire myth between this show and the other shows you mentioned? BECAUSE THEY ARE DIFFERENT SHOWS!!! Do you seriously think that all shows about vampires have to have the same concepts about how vampires can be killed and other things!?!? There are differences in books, too! In the Twilight series, the sun does absolutely nothing to harm vampires! The only thing it does is make their skin sparkle like diamonds!! And does that make the book bad?? NO!!!! That series is wonderful!! It's the same with Moonlight! And why, may I ask, does Mick have to have a "motivation" for helping mortals? He can't just be a good guy!? Or do you think all vampires are cold and heartless and only think of mortals as food!?!?!? GOD! People like you disgust me!! "MICK HAS NEITHER CHARM NOR CHARISMA"!?!?!?! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!! How can you even say that??? "MULLET IN THE MAKING"???? THAT IS NOT A FREAKIN' MULLET!! THAT HAIRSTYLE IS AWESOME!! And what are you talking about, "Stak

(*comment continued some more*) "Stakes don't do anything"!?!? They paralyze them!! Maybe if you actually watched the show, you would know that! And what are you talking about, "all he got was a little bit woozy"!?!? He was practically dead in a bathtub full of ice!! He had to drink Beth's blood to survive!! He would have died if Beth didn't care about him so much as to sacrifice her blood for him!! And there's some chemistry again! AARRRGGGGGHHHHH!! I wish I was a vampire so I could come and rip you to pieces (or at least give you some nasty wounds)! You are a tremendously biased and opinionated individual, and I think you should be kicked off the Buddy TV writing team. Good day!

(*comment continued but with less ferocity*) Ok. Now I am done. I'm sorry for my extremely harsh words, but they are the truth. I am just so angry. But that is what you get; a harsh comment for an extremely harsh (and incorrect) article.

Moonlight has gotten progressively better with each episode. As we follow the story, we become more entranced with Mick St. John and his struggle to accept a fate he didn't choose. He wants his life to make sense, and he wants to help humans and vampires alike. His lonely life is being made sweet by slowly getting to know and care for Beth--a spunky reporter that doesn't back down to him. Together they've worked on cases, exchanged some fun banter, fought for their lives, stolen a kiss, and just plain enjoyed life more since they've entered each others' lives. Moonlight is exciting and fun and I wait restlessly each week for the next episode!
