So, what does everyone think of it?

So far, I think I'm alone in liking it. The guy's great looking, Jason Dohring is his best friend, and it has potential.

But all I hear is that it's a rip off and tv guide agrees.

I never watched a vampire show before, never been in to it. But this, this I like.

Thoughts?

Um...well Jason was good, but he's season 1 Logan Echolls with fangs. The lead is a decent actor but I think the writing is awful as is most of the acting with the exception of Jason and the lead. It was actually kind of painful to watch. I wanted it to be good too. I really hope it picks up after this first episode and the writing gets better.

I finally got around to watching this pilot. Umm...well what to say. I was a huge fan of Angel which in comparison to this show was like the Mona Lisa of television. I went into it with an open mind despite the deja vu factor. I thought it was terrible. Terrible writing and just uninteresting. After 15 minutes i was looking to see how much longer i had to suffer. It's like a sad copy of Angel.

Maybe it was just the pilot and it will get better with time. I will keep watching i think at least 3 or 4 more episodes before i give up. Heres hoping it gets better not worse.

All I have to say is argh, argh, argh. I knew deep down that it wasn't going to be very good, but I really *wanted* it to be good, you know? It has two things that I value highly in life: Jason Dohring and vampires. I *needed* this show to work.

But oh my god. After watching, it was pretty darn awful. The acting was TERRIBLE. I SO did not care about the reporter chick at all. In fact, I wanted her to die. And what is up with vampires being able to go into sunlight and be immune to stakes through the heart? What is this, Blade?

The only thing that was cool was that the name of the college was Hearst College, just like in Veronica Mars! I kind of wish that every fictional college on television will be called Hearst College from now on.

P.S. I'm glad that I have this forum to talk about Moonlight. All I had to talk to while I was watching the show was my boyfriend, who never even watched VM, so he didn't really care about the Hearst College thing. He is a fool. :P

You can try Rob ...you might feel differently than we did. Nothing wrong with giving one episode a try i guess.

yueah but yoiu hated it! and dani hated it thats a bad sign! plus I hate downloading if its crap! feels like a waste of time and effort lol

You get to see Logan er...I mean Jason Dohring. He's worth the couple of minutes he's in it. Maybe his parts are on you tube.

He's in two scenes that are a couple minutes long each. One of them he's wearing really tight pants (I think he's trying to out do Nathan)
