| Is there a Moonlight thread? It's the only program I watch, aside from Charmed which is over. Please help me find other fans. Vampire Reader |

| I don't know if there is but if you can't find one you're always welcome to make one in the Current Shows section. Or if it's been canceled post it in the "Canceled shows" section.

| Of course there is a Moonlight section, it's a great show that deserves to be on here. Here you are: http://forums.buddytv.com/moonlight.html Welcome, vampire reader! (Judging by your nickname I dare ask you, have you read any Anne Rice novels?)

| I found tv.com and zeroed in on recaps of episodes in detail. I can't tell you the path because I don't remember how I got there. There was a bit of conversation I was puzzling over, trying to get it right. It was when M & B were walking towards the teen vamp's apartment and Beth asked Mick if his friends she met (Yosef and Rider who helped get the address) were 'you know'. He asked her if she could tell, or if she couldn't always tell. I'm not positive which one, but then, he said it was scary. I'm wondering which was scary - that she could or couldn't tell. What do you think? I think the recap had it wrong, but I suppose they have the script, unless they are also relying on their human hearing which is not always precise. I wonder if it will be or is possible to get the scripts because I am so impressed with the writing. I noticed Alex interprets and changes the wording from what was probably scripted: Do you ever attack in the normal way? (from Interview and paraphrasing) He said No, No, well, if someone really deserves it. The reading on that line was 'if someone really asks for it'. I believe he changed it because the latter could be taken either of two ways. I also believe when they broke into the crime apartment and were apprehended by police investigation, when Mick submitted he said "all right, all right," in such an American accent it could have been from 1950's gangster TV. I had the feeling he was laying it on thick to show how well he uses our accent. I know you're all familiar with Ann Rice's Vampires, but are any of you readers of Chelsea Quinn Yarbro's Saint Germain and his adventures in 20 novels. She first published Hotel Transylvania in 1978 and it is still the best. Her hero appears everywhere and when from ancient Egypt to the future. He does not heal in so magical a fashion as Mick, and does not reflect, but other than that, plus his sense of humor, can be most closely related to the Moonlight idea of Vampire life and problems. I have not seen this show from the beginning, but have seen clips on U-tube and CBS.tv, etc. I'm so eager for the DVD to come out so I can catch up on what I missed. The show is so beautifully written and acted, the concepts are so well presented, I think this is the best of the programs on this subject ever to grace our programming. The other vampire shows/movies were too corny, too silly. This is memorable. Your thoughts on my thoughts are eagerly awaited. Please do write again. Vampire Reader |
