| Thanks Calena. I'll have to check it out. The Night Stalker was about a newspaper reporter called Kolchak, who investigated mysterious crimes and events that always seemed to have a supernatural theme to them. ABC put out a remake of the show in 2005 but it was canceled early on. I guess it's hard to improve or even duplicate perfection. I grew up watching the original series in the 1970s starring Darren McGavin. I can remember sitting on the edge of my seat throughout the whole show, it was so spooky and scary. The story is that Chris Carter, creator or The X-Files use to also watch The Night Stalker in the 70s and it's what actually inspired The X-Files. In fact he had Darren McGavin appear on a couple of episodes as an old agent that came before Mulder.. sort of Mulder's predecessor/personal idol in the x-file field of investigations. |

| I see. Wouldn't you know it, Eric Kripke, the guy who created SPN, originally pitched the idea of a reporter investigating supernatural events to the network. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? In fact everyone I ever suggested watching SPN to (or rather nagged them to watch it to the point of being a severe pain in the a**, just ask candyrose and smiley

| I watched the first half of the pilot of it at the link you gave me but I couldn't find the second half. I think I could easily be hooked to it. Seems like my kind of show. |

BTW.... Calena may be a Dean's Girl... but Smiley sits on the fence.... I can't possibly choose between these two.... although, for now.... I have a neat little Naked Torso-ed Sam on my av!..... Naked torso-ed Dean is my screen saver!!!! I do have another screen saver that has Sam's rear end swaggering from side to side repetitively.... that's always nice to study.... Must post that one some where on here.... maybe even over in the Gutter Thread.... although, to be fair, you probably wouldn't have us to speak to again then unless you went over there to chat!!! Back to SPN show.... Yes, absolutely yes..... the wide variety of stories and legends etc... are by far the very very best thing in SPN.... The eps only get better, IMO.... there really isn't a bad one amongst them! My favourite one is 'The Benders'.... Wait and you see the hot Bender hotties on that one.... I swear you'll collapse with all the drooling you are going to do!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]()

| ^^^ And if you are very good on here... Smiley might even share the Bender family with you..... Oh Lordy.... Better drink loads before you watch that one as you are bound to drool buckets..... Some even say the Bender boys are better looking then the Winchester boys.... I think it's very much touch and go..... Could go either way that one......

| This should be part 2 of the pilot: http://www.surfthechannel.com/tv/Sup...5640fb913.html Quote:
The Benders was an hilarious ep, but there many eps that are just as good or even better. Just as smiley can't decide on her fave Winchester brother I for the life of me can't decide on what my fave ep is, I'd be hard pressed to narrow it down to my fave 10 eps.
