He never said they were the same attacks, pay more close attention next time. And I had changed my idea a few posts after that that kakashi would win but barely. There would be no blow out, if you believe that then you too are being fead a lack of information. Notice when kakashi does raikiri no hand sighns are involved? That is what we call full manipulation of an element. Chidori on the other hand is the act of using the sighns and pointing a large amount of chakra at the palm. Kakashi learned raikiri, didn't know what to name it, relized it could cut a bolt of lightning in half, and named it lightning blade/raikiri.

LOL In shippuuden apperently sasuke mastered lighting but i dont see kakashi with it mastered, just that one technique. And sasuke is at kakashis lvl or maybe above, did something kakashi couldnt do(--beat an akat member--), And he still calls his move chidori.

	He's also well beyond the Genin level in terms of skill now... I was reffering to him at the chuunin exams when he was in fact at the genin level in terms of skill.

Chidori was not named raikiri from just him cutting the bolt. You reading the subtitles wAYYYY wrong neji. GAI said he named it raikir cuz his attack could cut lightining, he didnt say kakashis CHIDORI could cut lightning. Kakashi learned to fully manipulate his element and called it raikiri cuz of it's strength, if sasuke just cut a bolt that means it's trong enough for the name raikiri, but chidori is not strong enuf to do that. Instead of working on the sharpness of chidori, he leanred to manipulate the size and shape of chidori. There is no more room really to debate on this topic, Raikiri is a sharper move and involves full use of lighting chakra, chidori nagashi is not as sharpe but involved full lighting manipulation. These attacks have no hand seals, this means it's the use of their body/chakra element.

	Lol this is the second forum I've carried this argument in. In my forum this argument has been goin on for a few months now lol. I love arguments like this because noone can really prove anything unless the manga specifically says so. And even then people interpret stuff differently and continue arguing.
