| Well, we do this every season over here since TTS started. It's like a tradition. And since we don't have one yet, and with the second half coming soon, here it is. So, what do you think will happen on the final episodes of the season? Will someone die? What is the game-changer? What happens on this year's finale? Post all of your predictions here. |

| This whole season we've wondered how exactly did the Oceanic 6 get off the island. I think they may have used the Orchid station, we saw in the video that another bunny appeared but i think they can choose exactly where the replica will appear. Darlton did say that the orchid video would play a big role at the end of the season. If youve ever seen the movie The Prestige then that is basically what i think. Another solution could be the temple. Maybe its a portal of the island, Ben said its the one safe place for the others to go, maybe because it takes them off the island. Or maybe the losties simply take over the freighter, but i doubt its that simple

| My predictions-- * Claire will die. Presumably from the return trip to the freighter. Brain aneurysm. * Sawyer will die in a gunfight trying to protect Kate (huge guess). * Locke will find the Temple & screw something up. * Jack will finally figure out that he has led the Losties into more danger than rescue by insisting they pursue the freighties, and lose his leadership role. He gets off the island but not without regretting how he did it, at the expense of the rest on the island. * Charlie's body washes up on shore and Miles Strome communicates with him, setting up Charlie's appearance to Hurley in the flash-forward. (I based this guess off of this week's EW vague story about what's coming up). |

| I saw some promotional images and a few trailers. My guess is: Keamy and his mercenaries attack the barracks, probably a lot of redshirts will die (if not all). They use Alex as a hostage to force Ben to surrender. Alex will die. After the barracks is destroyed, Locke's group splits; Sawyer, Claire, Aaron and Miles will go back to the beach. Locke, Ben and Hurley will visit Jacob. On the beach: the dead body of Ray, the doctor washes on the shore. Jack gets ill, but gets better again after one or two episodes. The others make it back to the beach and warn everyone about the freighter people. Somehow the Orchid is gonna be very important in the season finale. I think the Orchid and the Temple are actually the same, only the others call it their temple. I think the Oceanic 6 are going with the freighter, that's why they are forced to lie to the rest of the world about what happened. Jack wants to go back because he is feeling guilty he leftthe other survivors behind. I think (or hope) the spectacular kiss is gonna be Desmond and Penny. I don't know if everything I typed makes sense.. probably not ![]() Probably something else is gonna happen because Lost is very unpredictable. |

| Senior Member | The Orchid is built on top of the Temple, I remember something saying it had 'levels', what if the lower levels were like parts of the temple? Just like how Ben has that wierd temple-esque doorway in his secret room. I'm liking the idea of Claire and Sawyer being the secret kiss. Claire will probably die, but I think it would be a better twist if she didn't die, and was just seperated tragically from her baby somehow... Ben and Charles Widmore are brothers? I don't know, I just got that impression. They definetly seem to have a kind of buddy-buddy rivalry here, like it's all a big game.

1) the temple is built on an ancient location with alien special properties including relating to connecting with psyches and time manipulation + with the Orchid built over it to take technological advantage of the site + with access tunnels leading to it, and 2) Ben and Widmore are ancient rival Twins in a global perhaps universe-wide "game" with loosely agreed rules like in most wars including with occasional rule violation ... killing Ben's "daughter" Alex + one twin possibly evil/egocentric with self-serving intentions - RichPundit Also perhaps, Jack's implant has been activated, like Claire's was on the beach by Ben for building Juliet trust with our 815ers, and Ben's dominating rod-like tool pauses time for his opponents during which Ben can take commanding advantage. | |

| My predictions: 1. We'll learn Claire is dead. Rose is dead. Locke is dead. Just like Charlie and Patchy are dead. How they explain it, I don't know, but I'm starting to believe, as others have posted, that certain people just don't die on the island. Heck, we know the island won't let Michael die, so bringing back others from the dead is no stretch. I add to that theory: the island choses who it wants to bring back, depending on its (the island's) needs. I'm figuring it needs Michael to live to prevent Widmore from finding the island. The island needs Locke - probably as a counterbalance to Ben. Rose? Remains to be seen. Charley is there to get the Oceanic 6 back to the island. Claire is alive because the island needs her to raise Aaron. Which brings me to... 2. I'm starting to think that the Island really doesn't want Ben or Widmore around because both sides want to harness/exploit the island for their own gain. I think this is why the island needs Locke and Aaron - a new generation to protect it. This may also explain why women can't get pregnant on the island- at least can't get pregnant while working for Ben. The island doesn't want Ben around, so it lets him get sick. It also prevents his people from multiplying. (This may in part explain why Sun and Jin could get pregnant - they aren't seen as a threat or part of Ben's group.) The island, however, does need Ben in the short term to protect it (the island) from Widmore. I think we'll see down the line that the Losties are the "New Hope" for the island - a group who can keep the island safe, hidden and unexploited. |

| I may be way off but...we just saw that Emily is John Locke's mom. What was Ben's moms name, wasnt it also Emily? |

| Senior Member | Yes, and as I have theorized since I learned they were both Emily a while ago, Locke is Ben's big brother. Well, his big half brother. This is going to be a reveal I just know it. The crazy woman who he thought was his mom was just an actress. Anthony Cooper, too. Locke's parents are important, especially whoever his father is. We know his father would have been about 35-40 if he was a lot older than young Emily. My theory is that Locke's real father is an Island native, and Alpert was sent to bring him home. |
