| I thought this to be a bit interesting... Jack asks Frank, "Did the Red Sox really win the series?" Frank's response is to the affirmative, telling Jack to not get him started, he bleeds Yankee Blue. What Red Sox series was Frank referring to, 2004, or 2007? Imagine if he is talking about 2007, and Jack doesn't even realize it. The film Ben showed Jack was from the Red Sox 2004 victory, where they came back from 0-3 and beat the Yanks four straight... and that was awesome by the way! Who knows, this may have something to do with the "time" theories everyone is so hyped about. just a thought. |

They even went as far as to have Jack say he couldn't believe it has been 100 day since he has seen a baseball game, which could be relivant in both cases. I'm sure that the red sox thing will come up again possibly causing Jack to realize the whole time differance. Somebody may end up mentioning how remarkable that they have won 2 world series in 4 years (or have a red sox 2007 world series hat on), and the light will come on. And for those who would like to debate that the 2004 win was more relivant in disapointment to a yankees fan I would say that you are readig too much into it. Yankee fans are disapointed any time the red sox out play them (head to head or not). |
