Don't know if this has been noticed?
I copy each show on dvd and watch several times to see what I might miss.
My wife noticed something, while Sayid is sitting with one arm crossed meditating. He seems to react to a sound that sounds like a moan. He gets up goes over to Naomi checks her and covers her up.
Was that a moan? If so did it come from Naomi? Could the island have healed her? Is this why Sayid wants her body on the first flight to the ship? Can someone re-watch scene and see if they notice this also?

Wbrenda, i didnt notice that noise before. Ive just re-watched that opening scene and have to agree with you that there was a sort of 'moaning death awakening' noise. Whether it was what made Sayid stop praying or whether it was coincidental i dont know.

But your not alone, i heard the noise too.

A heli blade creaking? Sounded like a human noise to me.

I heard it, but it just sounded like the helicopter blade to me...if you look, it's still spinning a little, and it creaked just before the "moan" you say you heard.....just my opinion though
