Naomi's Bracelet

My wife eagle eyed the darhma logo on the shark in season two, and she noticed in S4.3 that elsa is wearing the same bracelet that naomi was wearing. Sayid is holding her hand after killing her and you can clearly see that the bracelet is the same design. Possibly a trend that we might need to look more carefully at to decifer who is a bad guy. maybe looking back there where other people wearing these bracelets.

It's weird that Sayid eyed Naomi's bracelet and seemed to acknowledge it's importance, but didn't think twice about Elsa's identical one. Probably by then he's already figured out the bracelet mystery. OR he gave Elsa the bracelet he had kept from Naomi.

I think Sayid didn't care because he already knew she was part of whatever organization has these braclets.

I think the inscription is just a code so they can identify each other---rather than a real love message from someone.

I am going to set the time line in the future and guess that when Sayid killed Elsa and saw the bracelet it was the first time he recognized it. somehow it made it's way back to Naomi. Now Naomi is in the past when she lands on the island and Sayid doesn't recognize it (maybe a deja vu) I am taking a stab in the dark here,but maybe R.G is the anitials of the "new name" that ben gives Sayid.

an interview between doc jensen and damon and carlton reveals that the bracelet on elsa's wrist doesnt really tie into anything. its pure coincidental

DAMON LINDELOF: Naomi's bracelet in the Sayid episode is a key point here. I got some e-mails from people who wondered if there was a connection between Naomi's bracelet and the bracelet worn by the woman Sayid killed in his flash-forward. There is no connective tissue. Sometimes a bracelet is just a bracelet. We just thought it would be a cool emotional touchstone for Sayid; Elsa's bracelet reminds him of Naomi. But some people interpreted that, ''Is there something more there?'' We might need to address that.

Interesting comment from Damon L, I thought for certain that the matching bracelets meant the two women worked for the same person.
