Prediction About The Looking Glass Station

The Looking Glass Station is a place where The Others can see into the past of the Losties (and even their own, i.e. Ben and Juliette) as if they are watching their pasts play out on a T.V. screen in front of them. This means that the flashbacks we have been seeing for the past 3 years are not really flashbacks at all but instead are actually being viewed (or seen in someone's minds eye) in real time by someone at The Looking Glass Station. This explains how The Others created their "files" on all the Losties and why The Looking Glass Station is so well hidden and well guarded. Think of it as "The Minority Report" in reverse, i.e. instead of seeing into the future, someone is in that station looking into the past of everyone on the island and using the information to manipulate events. Most likely, it is Jacob who can see these things. Book it!

Good therory, I was thinking that Dharma people were still in it. 3 things are sticking out to me are that Ben told his own people that it was flooded by an "accident" so we find out that is false, why is it being so guarded and kept secret, in the preview Ben said "Everything Ive done I did for the protection of/for the island, and third how come Desmond's vision was waaayy off this time, could still be true but we will have to see later.

I don't think Desmond's vision was way off... I think that it was a little bit off... Cause he said drown, I say shot... I think Charlie knows he needs to flip the switch and maybe he will see it out of the corner of his eye, lunge for it, flip it and get shot, either way, Dominic Monaghen isn't returning for season 4... so it's been said.

I like the theory by the original poster. Hopefully we will catch a glimpse of how far the rabbit hole goes next week.

Same here. Sorry, just after reading through the rules, etc., it seemed to me that anything "spoilerish" should be hidden. In my opinion, an actor not returning for next season is spoilerish. lol
