Adam and Eve

Hi all. First post, but I've been reading for a long time now.

Regarding the "Adam and Eve" skeletons that were discovered in the first season. The producers have said that this ties into the major mythology of the show and tells somoething about the "timeline" of the island. They's also said that when we find out who they are, we will realize they've been planning this all from the beginning of the show.

Here's one possible theory about Adam and Eve- not fully thought out, and not really a spoiler- we will find out that they are the skeletons of two of the main characters/survivors of flight 815. Maybe Jack and Kate? This happens through some sort of time loop. For example, Jack took the stones from the hand of "Adam", when he found the skeletons. Maybe he eventually dies and is buried with the stones

Any thoughts on this, my first "crackpot theory"?

I have heard this before actually, it's a good theory and I think it is entirely possible.
