My Evolving Theories on Lost in one Complete Package!

I thought this would be a good idea. Instead of making a new thread every time I thought of something new. It should be better, and easier to follow now too. Hope some of you enjoy it.

Concerning time on Lost Island.
-----------------------------

- I predict the show will end and or the survivors will be saved after 108 days island time.
-The island moves at the same time frame that everything else does.
-Desmond did change things in the past. One was the ring and the other was the bartender.
-The ring will either wash ashore, or appear somewhere we wouldn't expect.
Tonight, there is supposed to be an easter egg that will throw us for a loop. Dessy is supposed to find something that shouldn't be their. This may confirm my theory on the ring finally.
-The bartender may show up later in the series. Possibly being the one who serves Christian Sheppard his last drink.
-Desmond will succeed in saving Charlie.
-There may or may not be a loop in time, and or away tore-do events in time instead of a groundhog styled time line.
-I believe that the show runs on the string theory of time. As suggested by the books found on the show. This could leave open an avenue for time loops or do overs.
-Jack and kate OR kate and sawyer may be the Islands skeletons. Jack does have the stones and Sawyer has the pouch.Although they could just be curve balls being thrown at us.

Course Corrections and The Overall Arching theme of LOST.

-We have learned that Desmond is being plagued with visions of charlie's death. No matter what he does the universe will course correct it's time line due to changes desmond makes. Making charlie's death inevitable.
-DHARMA set out to change the numbers,and save the impending death of humanity.Similar to charlie, the universe would not allow them to succeed. Although this does not mean charlie is doomed.
-The idea we are posed with now. Is one of the worlds most ancient ponderings. Are our lives predestined, or are we living in a free universe that our own will and choices may govern our destiny's.
-Simply put, Fate Vs Control. OR Faith vs Science.
-So far LOST has led us to believe the Lostaways have no real control and are subjected to fate. As well as the strong hints from all of locke's great adventures steaming from his faith in the island.
-This is just a curve ball in my eyes, and they are going to bring us to a final showdown of Locke and the Others vs Jack and the 815ers. Science and Control will over come Fate in this instance.
-This will happen because Lost has always set us up to believe one thing and then show us another. They want us to think desmond cannot save charlie. They want us to think their is no control.
-If this were true, then they are truley not 'Lost' they are on their paths and exactly where they should be. Although, this is not true.They are on the island as a result of previous choices.
-The reason behind all of the connections between the Lost survivors is that once DHARMA and the other higher up possibly still in business organizations began to try and save humanity. The universe stepped in. Thats when all of these people began their fateful course to intertwining lives. These people arrived on the island as a result of the universe stepping in. Which is why they all appeared on the same plane, with intersecting pasts. It is why they survived the plane crash and why desmond david hume has met some of them in the pastas well.
-These changes WOULD be looked at as proof of fate since the universe has placed them their. Although it means their fate has been changed, due to the changes DHARMA had tired to make. Which means desmonds actions with charlie may result in other unforeseen changes to the time line that fate had drawn out.

Jacob
------

-Jacob has been alluded too all season. We will meet him at the end of S3 or beginning of S4.
- He mayor may not be Jacks father.There is evidence that supports both cases. If not, I do not think he is any Lost Survivor. Jacob will be an entirely new character.
-He never healed Rachel. She never got the cancer back. The files were faked, ben had them made because he had to fool Juliette into staying longer. The 6 months were up and they needed some leverage. Ben said he would have Jacob heal her, obviously he has healing powers and or skills as well as supreme respect. If this was enough to get Juliette to believe her sister would make it through again.

Jacks Father

He may or may not be Jacob. I will list the reasoning behind why he may be Jacob. The reasons also steam out to support the return of Christian even not as Jacob.

-The entire story for Expose, and the entire episode, was not a filler. It was to bring in the medusa spider.
-Jacks father died of alcohol poisoning causing heart failure.
-Artz told Nikki "not even a good doctor could tell you were alive". The writers wouldnt bring this man in, to say this line, make fake spiders JUST to kill nikki and paulo. NO, this was to explain what caused Christian Sheppard to appear dead for his son.
-The rest was easy. DHARMA worked with Hanso, a munitions company. Jacks father and the others off the island orchestrated the rest. The coffin was escapable, and had a way for him to breathe. Hanso supplied the means for him to knock out the planes radar and bring the plane down.
-Also, to bring the story really in, desmond could have changed the fate of the bartender who was not hit by a cricket bat that jimmy lemon swung. So the people who talked to desmond, could have met the bartender, and made him be in australia and put the spider venom in christian sheppards drink. Totally aware of this he drank it to fake his death, so not even unsuspecting civilians couldn't say they saw him collapse after a night of heavy drinking. This also adds to what happened to juiliette. They could have had spider venom in her orange juice.
-Next, another reason, is that every story on lost hasto come to a close. How else can this happen, if Jacks father is not around. Jack has to bury his father. Well, if he's not dead that will certainly add more to the story. Next Claire and jack are related. Claire doen't even know his name. Unless a really lame reveal through the others info, lets them know. Then well, its going to be their father they see which causes the revelation.

The Monster
-----------
-Vincent is the monster. Well the monster is using the dead carcass of Vincent and basically was able to re-create his exact image. So it could spy on and learn about the losties. Explaining the random shots of the dog watching people in S1 and S2.
-The dead bodies of boone, eko's brother and other re-appeared dead losties are apart of or have been taken and copied by the monster. So it can use their form. Thus explaining their re-appearances.
-Also possibly explaining jack's dead father. Although, I think he is alive. more of that is below.
-This is why the other who was killed by sun was burned and set to sea. So the monster could not copy her.

Ben and his cancer
------------------

-The tumor was caused by his cheating of the island. The island as locke says, will give you what is needed. He takes things and cheatshis way into them.
-Doing things like eating refrigerated chicken as locke said is why he is still in the wheel chair.
-Most of all, the tumor, which takes time to grow, may have been slowly forming over years of deception, starting with his stolen daughter alex. The main reason behind the tumor.

Possible deaths for this season.

Excluding Anthony Cooper and other DHARMA or random others, such as Rodger Workman or Henry Gale.

Charlie
-His death or survival all depends on the path the writers choose.If they side with the idea that our lives are pre-determined then charlie is done for. If the Losties have a choice in life, then he may be safe.

Sawyer
-His story will come to a close.Locke has mentioned how the othersare unforgiving. His letter will be delivered. it would cause for an enormous shock and also create a much darker setting for S4.

Kate
-It would cause a division between the losties. Between Jack and Sawyer, and would end the triangle forever.

Ben & Juliette
-With the looming reveal of Jacob. The face of the others will change. Ben is losing control and Juliette is in a bad position. One of the two could very well be on their way out. I doubt it would be both.

Locke
-As I explained above. The theme of having a choice will be given a set path. I am fairly certain fate will loose out to will. Therefore locke vs Jack which has been building up, it may very well end with the possible untimely end for one John locke.

Jin
-Just the simple fact that his story overall is nearing complete.He may be cut loose. Possibly to make a much more dramatic impact during another death.Possibly during the big battle looming.

Well I believe that covers it all. it's all of my theories renewed with some new information., It's also written better. More of predictions than me flat out stating what I think will be a definite happening.

Hi there.... this is my first post, so go easy on me. I really like some of your theories, although the one with Smokie/Vincent made me think more of a Koontz novel then anything else.

Anyway, with your "maybe" of Sawyer dying, do you think that TPTB would set him up as they have as a psuedo-leader... helping him become more warm and fuzzy and less of the Sawyer that we all know and love... and then whack him?

Also, what do you do with/ think of/ explain of Juliet?

Juliet it's easy. I think ben has explained to her most everything about the island.So she knows alot ofit's secrets and is willing to protect it. I think she wants to help herself and is willing to take others such as jack and the losties down to do this. I think she knows the losties can't win and is choosing the stronger team.
