TIME moves at the SAME SPEED.

Rschel would not have a baby born yet. From the time demond crashed, jack would have had to gotten on the plane almost immediatly after, which means he has little time to get married and such.

BEN said he has been living on the island for 40 YEARS.

I don't mind the theory time moves faster on the Island theory. But no way, no how it has been 10 years in real world time since the crash unless for some reason she's coming from 10 years in the future. But.. extrapolating...

10 years / 90 days = x / 3 years

x = 121 years. So you're claiming that 121 years have passed since Desmond and Juliet landed on the island?

Spedup time is fine.. but keep it in the realm of possibility. If she says that quote... it isn't because of a sped-up timeframe.. it would have more to do with the way she got there.

In other words.. how and where you come to and leave the island is important for exactly when you come from and go to. I could see Michael and Walt ending up rescued by 18th century British ships for instance.

He said he was born on the island.

Btw.. no way Ben is '40-ish' or 40 something.. OR EVEN IN THE REALM OF BEING in his 40's. He's clearly in his 50's... as is the actor. If they got a younger actor... you could say 40-something.. but Benjamin Linus is in his 50's.
