| At this point, I'm beginning to wonder if John's Father was really Sawyer Sr. Why was his Mother so adamant that he be named John? Sawyer Sr. may have thought he was the Father but maybe it was Jacob's nemesis (Esau)? It would explain a lot. As to Esau's declaration that Jacob had "no idea what I've gone through to get here", I think we're about to find out. Perhaps Jacob's visit to each of the Losties was to give them information and/or new perscpective to defend themselves against what Esau's plotting has done to each of them. |

| I have often wondered myself if Cooper(Con-man) was actually Lockes dad. If you remember, her mom states that the man is to old for her. Ok, so this is around 1953, due to Locke being born in 1954. She is around 16-18 I would say, so if he is quite older then is it safe to say he is around 35-40? Just guessing here. So if he is 35 in 1953, that would make him 83 in 2003. Cooper to me doesn't look to be that old in the episodes he is in. I would say more like late fifties, early sixties. So this doesn't wash for me on the age issue with Cooper being Lockes dad. Could MIB be Lockes dad? Hadn't looked at it this way, and why was she so adament for his name to be John. |
