Imagine Jack with Desmonds power

What if Jack had Desmond's power to forsee the death of a certain person and or persons.

Would he ever stop trying to save them? Would he spend the rest of his life furfilling his docotors oath and his own desire to save everyone, would he ever stop till he dies?

No one would ever die cause Jack would save every single person. Which would result in an overpopulation ironically wiping out the human race. Thanks Jack.
