Man in Black Shirt is Smokey

Does anyone else think that the man on the beach with Jacob was the smoke monster? The monster appeared as Alex and told Ben to do whatever Locke asked of him. That was because the monster is posing as Locke and is using Ben to kill Jacob for him, since he can't do it himself. This makes sense because we know the monster can appear or take the form of anything it wants. So imposter Locke=Smoke Monster
This all goes back to the first season when Locke "looked into the eye" of the island or monster. As we know from Mr. Eko, the smoke monster can see inside you and learn your history and background. When it looked into Locke, it could have seen that he was going to one day be the leader of the Others and came up with his plan to use him to kill Jacob. Thus allowing Locke to live. Also, Roussou said the monster was a "Security System." The man on the beach didn't seem too keen about having visitors on the island, so that might be why it protects the island so violently. It wants the people who have come to the island gone.
Any opinions?

Yeah allot of people think mr black shirt is smokey, and that he can shapeshift, read some other threads on the general discussion and theory section.
Someone came with the theory that somkey can't change into everyone he wants, just in people who died at the island and where not buried(christian, yemi,locke) although that theory has still allot of holes in it, for example lock didn't die at the island, and walt apearing....
