Default Having a conversation with a recorded video.

Hello

So I happened to catch a Doctor Who episode titled "Don't Blink"

There is a part in the episode when a woman is having is having a conversation with the doctor. But he is not present, in fact he is not even in the same time.

She is talking to a recorded message on a laptop, but as she asked questions the doctor is responding, he even tells jokes. Now the strange thing is it is a recording that the Doctor made in the past. It's not a interactive computer program or AI.

The reason the Doctor was able to record the message in the past (a few years) was because as the woman talked to the recording a man was present. He was writing detailed notes about the conversation, everything that was said by all parties present.

Later in the future the woman meets the doctor on the street. But the Doctor has no idea who she is. She says hey your the Doctor and a time traveler. So of course he stops, she hands him the transcripts of the conversation she had with him in the past, from when he was in the past (lol weird sentance). She walks away smiling knowing that because she gave the notes to the doctor that everything would be ok.

It was a very cool episode that really did not center much on time traveling, it was about these creepy statues that are "Quantum Locked"

It made me think about Lost.

Videos left in the past from Dharma people, having stations that "record every detail no matter how insignificant", time traveling. How some people seem to "know the future"

in fact if you think about it, knowing the future in itself is a Paradox.

If I can see the future then I could change it, If I change the future then i could not have seen the future that I changed. (paradox)

Anyways It was a really cool episode of Doctor Who check it out if you can!
