Widmore + Ellie = Penny

A thought popped into my head the other day and I thought I would try it out as my first post here. I haven't put a lot of research into it, so if it's come up before, or If I'm missing something obvious, let me know:

Widmore is on the island in the 1950's. So is Ellie, who I believe, like a lot of people, will end up being Ms. Hawking. What if Widmore and Ellie both hooked up and had Penny together? Widmore and wife would have had to leave the island to have their baby (or mom and baby would die on the island) and either b/c of this or during this, Widmore is exiled from the island. After all, everyone else who wants to have a baby, stays on the island and dies; so what would make Widmore so special as to be able to leave the island? This would also make Daniel and Penny bro and sis. Or a least half related (or twins? What are their ages?). This could also explain some of the animosity between Ben and Whidmore. Ben was a 'true' other, and his wife (annie) stayed on the island and died. Thus the adopted daughter (Alex). I beleive the time could work out; even more so if time travel is involved, but I would prefer not to use time travel as crutch (as I hope the writers don't).

Any feedback, pro or con, would be greatly appreciated...

Unless they married/co-created Penny/whatever, they must have done so well into the 1960s. Penny IMO is no more than 40 in our present. Which makes it inconceivable IMO that Eloise could be Daniel's mother either.

I'm a believer that Big Charles and Ellie are brother and sister. They have sibling type interactions in "Jughead" and then that would make.... fill in the rest with the family tree...

I think Big Charles is using Little Charles to do Ellie, the results of which will be Penny and Faraday.

Well, after tonights episode, some of my theory came true...Widmore is kicked off the island b/c he was leaving to secretly have kids....maybe the rest will pan out too??

Charles seems to have a problem with children born on the island, I think penny will turn out to be a relative of someone else- hopefully not desmond but possibly a half sister of Charlie

Widomre was apparantly "voted" off the island (sorry, can't resist the Survivor metaphor) for having a child (did Ben specify it was a daughter in the farewell scene by the sub?--I can't remember) with an "outsider".
This would seem to suggest that the mom is not an "other", but rather someone on the mainland. Ellie is clearly a member of the group in "Jughead", so, either:

A-the outsider isn't Ellie, or

B-Ellie was voted off the island at some point after "Jughead" and is now deemed an outsider. We have to consider this possibility because of her absence from all of the Widmore flashbacks last night.

If it is not Ellie, then I think this mother could be Penny's mom, and the child in question is Penny.

If it is Ellie, then she could be both Penny and Daniel's mother, although I think we still haven't got enough evidence to declare definitively that Widmore is Daniel's father. I think there's still a chance that Widmore's invovlement in Faraday's life and work may be atributable to his being Ellie(maybe)/Elloise's child, having that knowledge base to build on, plus his own research, making Faraday a good investment in Widmore's effort to return to the island. But I confess, I like the idea of him being Faraday's dad a lot more, and hope that's the case.

What's interesting to me is if Ellie/Elloise is not the woman Widmore sired a child with that gets him voted off, then it is some other woman. And, this being Lost, what are the odds that this heretofor unseen mother ends up being related to another of our castaways when we finally do meet her?
