Lost is sooo religious

first of all i don't belive that they are really dead, but alot of evidence points to them being in limbo. like maybe they died in the plain crash and the island is what decides if they go to heven or hell.
so Aaron is the name of Moses's older brother, not biologically, just as like friends, like "Hey brotha". and Aaron's great great grandfathers name is Jacob. and apparantly Jacob is like a second jesus in the bible, the torah, and some other holy book. there is a line in the bible that says "God loves you as he does Jacob". then there is also a religious book called Jacobs Ladder, where apparantly Jacobs ladder is the ladder to heven. plus in the episode when Ben takes locke into the Cabbin to see Jacob, there is a ladder behind ben inside Jacobs cabbin.
also, the four toed statue on the island is anubus. if you look at it again, you could tell by the jackle head and the long septre and the robes. plus hurley was drawing a picture of the egyptians in the episode before. Anubus is the God of the underworld, i think. and he decides whether you go to heven or hell. and in season 2 when locke didn't punch in thje numbers in the hatch, hyroglyphics came up where the numbers should be. the hyroglyphics read "the underworld".
Also, the writers of the show said that they have a name for the black smoke that they havent put into the show yet. they said that the dharma has a name for it. the black smokes name is Ceberus. and for those of you that don't know, Ceberous is a giant three headed dog. Ceberous is supposed to guard the gate to hell.
also the battle between jack and locke all the time is the thought of faith or science. one of the episodes is even called "Man of Science, Man of Faith"
not even to mention all the religiousness in the characters. charlie was once an alter boy for instance. Mr. Ecko carrying around a a jesus stick. both of them wanting to make a church.
also some people belive that the numbers have some sort of meaning in religion. each number has a different significance in a different religion. i don't remember which is which, i just remember the theory. i do know that the numbers are the valanzetti equation though. i don't have enough time to explain it, if you want to know what it is, look it up. what i will tell you is that it predicts the end of the world.
im sure there are more instances in which religion is featured in this show, but i cant put my finger on it right now.
so to wrap it up, i don't think they are dead, im just saying its a possibilty. i think it would be a stupid ending, but hey, its a direction their gonna have to choose.
