| By the end of Lost's fourth season, a main character will die. No one has confirmed this, but it just has to be true. All hell is going to break loose on the island as the season finale approaches, and it wouldn't make sense if the body count at the end of it all was zero. Who, then? That's a difficult questions. Lost is a merchant of shock and awe, specializing in surprise twists and surprise deaths. With the advent of the flash forwards, we know a handful of our favorite Lost characters are safe – Hurley, Ben, Jack, Kate, Sayid and Sun. In a story on E! Online yesterday, there was a spoiler regarding a character who doesn't make it off the island by the finale, but remains alive on the island. Read on to find out who. SPOILER WARNING!!! | I think I agree that the most likely character to be offed would be either Michael or Claire. However, it'd be smarter to off Michael as it would redeem his character if it were through self sacrifice (as mentioned in the article) AND would give the writers a chance to come up with an amazing twist as to why Claire gave up (or HAD to give up) her baby, and stay on the island. I think it's a more interesting story line if Claire stays alive. |

| I completely agree! I think it would be sorta dumb for Jack and Claire to be siblings yet nothing ever come of it because the writer's kill off her character. I can't see the hero's little sister dying, whether Jack ever knows that she is or not. One thing that's kinda confusing to me, changing the subject a little here, is that the island obviously doesn't want certain people to leave. Are there other people it will let leave? Or is the island some kind of geographic gang where once you're in, you're in for life? |

| Claire being dead already? Not a chance. As for the odds, I would not use "they have a lot of story left" as a reason a character WON'T die. Look at Libby and Rousseau. Both those characters certainly had a whole lot more story to tell (why was Libby in the nut house and who is her dead husband whose boat she gave to Desmond...how did Rousseau get to be on the island, unless you buy that science team thing). Here's my theory: EOnline is part of Darlton's misinformation campaign, and Sawyer WILL die. Don't trust everything you read on the Internet. |

| Sawyer won't die because I will not allow such a thing to happen. He's one of my favorite characters. I'm putting my money down on Michael. |

| Also, I don't think Claire gave up her baby or that she gets killed. I think that Kate leaves with the baby because they can't find Claire after she disappeared and that she pops up after the boat has taken everyone home. I think that next season will revolve around two different story lines, one of the island, and one on the island. I also think the final season will be the Oceanic Six going back to the island to rescue, or at least attempt to rescue, the remaining survivors. Ben WILL have all of the 6 "employed" before it's all said and done. |

| Lost seems to be playing the ghost card alot more frequently these days. Let's say Claire is dead. Hurley has Charlie, Jack has Christian. Could Jin have Sun? Kate have Sawyer? Aaron have Claire? If that's the case, could Sayid have Shannon? I really hope not. I liked that show alot better when it was called, "Six Feet Under". |

| Member | Personally, I think Bernard is a good bid to bite the dust. It seems to me that the show is featuring Bernard a lot more in recent episodes - possibly to warm us up and thus increase the emotional impact when he buys the farm? The writers did the same thing with Alex in the episodes before her death, so I think it's a good possibility. |

| I don't think that Claire will die. Remember what Desmond told Charlie in season three? He said that he saw Claire and Aaron get on a helicopter to be taken off the Island but not this season or next. I'm thinking that Claire will survive through out the whole series and be reunited with Aaron in season 6 and at the end Desmond vision will come true. Atleast that's what I would want to happen. |

| Claire can't die. One big reason, is that is just WAY to simple. The writers on this show would never do something so obvious. Another reason is because of the whole half brother sister thing with Jack. Sure the last episode actually came out at said that Claire and Jack where half siblings, but Jack and Claire haven't made that connection yet. They promised us that that would happen. I personally think it will be Juliette. Think about it, what story dose she have left to tell? And also, has Juliette once been mentioned in ANY of the flash fowards? No. We know Jack and Juliette don't work out because of last episode. I think it's because she dies. She's a main character now after all that's happened. If they kill of Faraday, I'm am going to be angry. XDD |
