Now that sounds promising
Sounds like a horror movie... I think Locke and Ben will be paying a visit to Jacob and/or we'll get an explanation of what caused Regina to kill herself.

Think a "Spectacular" kiss requires a strong foundation with a deep history, and no doubt Kate & Jack have both! Also, we already know that they are both off-island, and have very strong feelings towwards each other.

Even if obvious, it easily can still can be a "Spectacular" kiss - RichPundit
I agree with you Rich. It's most likely gonna be Jack and Kate. Although, I really hope it's Desmond and Penny. Jate is lame...

Exclamation 04/11 - New EW Spoilers

Here are the spoilers from the new Lost article from EW. You can read the full story on the link below.
  • The ensuing four installments will answer some of the season's biggest questions: How did the much-vaunted Oceanic 6 leave the Island? What happened to those left behind? Why is Sayid (Naveen Andrews) killing people for Ben in the future? And who's rotting inside that darn coffin?
  • The finale — whose Big Twist is code-named ''Frozen Donkey Wheel'' — will set the stage for another series reinvention. Citing the seventh Harry Potter book, in which J.K. Rowling broke her usual year-at-Hogwarts template, executive producer Damon Lindelof says, ''We're taking the same approach. You think the show is, 'Okay, they're on the Island, and then — whoosh — you're in the past or the future.' By the end of season 4, I think the audience is going to go, 'How can the show continue to be that?' And they are absolutely right.''
  • What they'll be doing is kicking things off with a meaty sweep of story. In addition to being a flash-forward adventure for globe-trotting Ben, in which his war with British billionaire Charles Widmore (Alan Dale) over control of the Island will intensify, episode 9 revisits a long-simmering subplot: Sayid's romance with Iraqi love Nadia (Andrea Gabriel).
  • According to Lindelof, a new dimension of Smokey the monster's mercurial nature will also be revealed, per the Lost rule that ''you learn something new about the monster whenever it appears.''
  • Cuse says a major story line will begin for Claire (Emilie de Ravin), Aaron's Aussie mommy, who lost boyfriend Charlie in last year's finale: ''Mysterious things are happening to Claire that set up the next few episodes — and the next few years, too.''
  • ''The Shape of Things to Come'' will be followed by a flash-forward installment for Jack. ''We're starting to close the loop on the end of last season,'' says Fox. ''Jack in the future is a man marked by weakness, but the Jack of the present is strong. You're going to understand how he made that transition.''
  • The last three episodes include only one flashback, which the producers say will be a mythically significant outing for...someone. The rumor: Locke (Terry O'Quinn).
  • Fans will also see a new Dharma station called the Orchid — all three levels of it — that might shed more light on the Island's time-warping properties.
  • Peripheral faves like Penelope, ageless Other Richard Alpert (Nestor Carbonell), and off-Island mystery man Matthew Abaddon (Lance Reddick) will pop up. But due to the strike, two breakout freighter newbies — frazzled physicist Daniel Faraday (Jeremy Davies) and ghost-whispering hustler Miles Straume (Ken Leung) — won't be getting their spotlights until next year.
  • The May 22 finale will complicate the Jack-Kate-Sawyer love triangle by featuring ''a spectacular kiss'' and elaborate on Jack's flash-forward ambition to journey back to the Island. ''This year's finale will sum up exactly how difficult it may be to accomplish that,'' says Lindelof, who adds this cryptic response to speculation that flash-forwards will vanish once Island present meets off-Island future: ''There could easily be a time when the word flash becomes irrelevant.''
  • During EW's stay on the set, Garcia prepared for an encounter with Smokey, and Holloway was spritzed with fake sweat and a touch of blood in advance of a raging gunfight.

Exclamation 04/11 - Episode 9 Spoiler

I can reveal that the body that is washed ashore in Episode 4.09 is that of Doc Ray. His body itself is not that significant but what it implies does.
Source: DarkUFO Spoilers

Could it possibly explain more about time on and off the island, or does it imply something bad happened on the freighter? Thoughts?

JVince & TTSers:

my quick, impulsive thoughts about the washed-up freighter body and your other great spoilers, is that it seems clear that a major, tactical battle has begun on our Island with critical strategic booty at stake ... perhaps control of our Island Collective Psyche with all its capabilities, resources, and benefits.

The freighter helicopter was gone, most likely transporting battle participants including the doctor who doesn't survive, and it eventually becomes no longer "NOT YET" to detonate KJ's bomb. Think there are at least two other groups involved in this critical battle beyond our 815ers, Others, and Freighters, at least indirectly orchestrating. AND imho, Aaron and Ben are the key targets for victory.

[Good vs Bad Guys. Story-wise in Frankenstein, most all were "really the good guys" from their limited perspectives: of course innocent "monster" Frankenstein, the mad scientist Frankenstein, the terrified torch-carrying Villagers, and the blind old man in the warm cottage in the forest. Diverse, conflicted groups may simply have different perspectives, hence priorities, hence behaviours, hence results. Think most of our rabidly and ruthlessly competing LOST groups are "really the good guys" and parallel the human behaviours in Frankenstein [& Shakespeare's The Tempest], but we now have only a limited perspective from which to judge good vs. evil.]

My guess is that a tactical draw will result, and much will be reluctantly traded including perhaps even Aaron who is genetically intimately connected to our Island and thus, in very high demand by all.

Also speculate why perhaps Oceanic 6er Kate reluctantly takes Aaron is to save Sawyeron our Island, Locke/Ben fight to keep everyone on our Island so as not to disrupt the Island function including psyche time travel with course corrections, the powerful and ruthless prosecuter of Kate strangely suggests and accepts Kate's geographical prison as her sole punishment for a brutal murder+ so as to monitor/protect Aaron, Jack's pissed at the Island deal/situation specifics particularly Kate/Aaron which he most likely may have helped to make happen, and why Jack & Hurley scream that they "have to go back!" ... to "fix" the deal/situation.

Whew! Namaste - RichPundit

btw, just added Green Day's "American Idiot" to my 5-disc, CD/track randomizer player ... nice complement to the other four CDs.

Exclamation 04/14 - Emilie de Ravin, Out?

Quote:
This season's flash-forward bombshell that Kate ends up caring for Claire's son, Aaron, seemed to confirm whispers that de Ravin isn't long for Lost's world. Intel also suggests that Claire will be in mortal danger when the show returns April 24.
