Nice Forums, kewl consistent spoilage. One Problem.

More than 75% of it is a pile of crapolla. LOL For instance, the first episode of Season 3 was NOT kate Centric.

A Tale of Two Cities, the third season's premiere, is rumored to be a Kate-centric episode (yes, it's Kate, not Jack).

IT WAS Jack centric even when it was said that its Kate NOT Jack ....

The Second episode of season 3 was NOT claire centric.

Further Instructions." This epi will be Claire-centric and her flashback features Mike and Jan, a hippie-ish couple in their 50's. They are warm and kind, but also tough and protective when the situation calls for it. Air date will be October 11, 2006.
Yea OK. NOT!! IT was SUN Centric (way off)

You got it folks! Shannon Rutherford will return in Season Three of lost!
More Stories!

Also appearing in Claire's flashback, in #302, called " Further Instructions", is 'Eddie', a sweet young man in his 20's.

didn't happen in 302 and it wasn't even Claire Centric. (this agent man is full of it)

The Third episode of season 3 was NOT THIS: (LOL)

Episode 3...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

will be Sun-centric according to secretagentman. Here's what he said:

#303 is called " The Glass Ballerina". Sun has a dream of her future, featuring her 9 year old daughter.

Future? I guess they got tired of making flashbacks...

Episode 3 was Further Instruction and it was LOCKE Centric (WAY OFF AGAIN) and it wasnt Sun's 9 year old daughter lol, it was Sun when she was young.

As for Episode 4 ::

Straight from the spoiler king himself....
Eps 304 is called " Every Man For Himself". Its is Desmond-centric with flashbacks to his time in prison. It features Warden Harris, a nasty man with a hate on for Desmond. 304 also has 'Munson', a mild-mannered gov't bureaucrat in his 30's who shows his dark side when he finds out he has been betrayed by his wife. No, I do not who his wife is or who he is connectd to.

Not even CLOSE , Episode 4 was Sawyer Centric, and its when we find out Sawyer has a daughter awww sooo cute (again the spoiler info was way wrong)

New character introduced in #303. Will recur. 'Colleen', late 30's, tough, obvious THAT WAS IN EPISODE 2.

The Follow one was the only right one of 9 pages of the Season 3 spoilers thread by jvince (no offense man)

New spoilers from secretagentman and Rhowsen of TWoP:

Eps #305 is called " The Cost of Living", and is Eko-centric.

Now, I'm not trying to bash anyone here or anything. But this proves that we can't tell what will happen until we see the episode or until its pretty close to an episode but even then we are wrong. Sites like darkufo, secretagentman and other spoilers site are just guessing or believeing false info from TPTB to confuse us and throw us off course.

So is spoilerage worth the time? When you hunting for facts, and people are hunting sites to try to find out whats going on, mostly all it will do is confuse you, (spoil you) leaving you in a state where you won't enjoy the show as much , surprizes have less impact and it just overall kills things. Stop trying to find out what will happen, and just watch the shows people.

Theories are kewl, write theories people. But stop trying to find out who does what in which centric episode to who or what! You will be wrong, its proven that on a long hiatus we will always be wrong lol.

Dear Tiger: You are a tool. With love, the fish.

OK, looking at most of these spoilers, you can see that they are from casting calls, extras... they aren't people who have read the scripts. Certainly not JJ out there dropping hints. Also, before I rip apart your points individually, LOST is (I expect this is intentional) a show that can can be shuffled in order a fair bit. It's easy to change what flashbacks will be in which episodes. Not for all the episodes, but certainly for a lot. Before you attack the spoilers, Think on these points:

Yup, 1st episode was Jack-centric.

Look at the description of the Claire'episode. Don't write off the whole thing simply because the timing was wrong. Wait until we get the Claire flashback, then lets see how accurate it is.

Season 3 isn't over. how can you know that Shannon won't pop up?

Again, let's wait for Claire's flashback. This seems like a casting call.

As far as the Sun episode, that's pretty close.... someone who saw little bits could have jumped to the wrong conclusion.

If you swap Desmond for Sawyer, that was pretty spot on.

The further out that spoilers are, the less likely they are of being (or staying) true. These are actually the spoilers that I love. I'd much rather hear these little bits an dpieces than, 'Eko bites it in Ep.4' Its just preference. My point is; these spoilers are NOT wrong, you're interpretation of them is. Take them for what they are, little bits that are floating around. details may change, or big things may change. That's how these things go.

Fish, I stated that I wasn't trying to bash anyone. Didn't I? Thank you. I was just making a point, that the spoilers aren't near accurate. Your comments make me laugh though, lol. You seem to be defending some points like that Episode 2 was not Claire centric and what was said about it? I am not concerned with what it said! I am concerned with the big Spoilers that come with a heading like " episode 2 Name: Further Instructions centric: Claire flashback will feature a 50-ish hippish couple " I assume this info come from casting information (nice)

Points I will make:

1) The writers could change their minds near pre-production and take something else , could change anything of the show.

2) The writers don't change anything, but so and so made a completely wrong guess about these people, so the text about the flashback or episode would be useless then.

3) We have NO idea what the writers are doing and what TPTB have planned, therefore guessing just confuses people.

4) Whats wrong with just watching the show? Where does a life of guessing a television show pay?

Now that I made these 4 simple points. If the spoiler's centric is incorrect then what certainty do we all have that any part of it is correct? Could be nothing correct or just one point , no one knows or can really verify MOST of the time. What I was trying to say, politely *providing examples* was that spoilers are rarely right and are they necessary? Just a waste of time to me. Then I get angry. If people can post spoilers do it right or don't do it AT ALL.

Spoilers are usually what fans hope because when I go back and see that 4 out of 5 episode infomation is wrong, then whats the point. LOL

The idea of having an area dedicated to spoilers is so that those that enjoy getting their reveals ahead of time can do so, and those who prefer to watch the show as it unfolds can simply opt not to visit the spoiler forum. Some spoilers will be real and many will be incorrect or fake. TBTB have not hidden the fact that they put foilers out on occasion to cast doubt about information which is leaked. I think most people who read the spoiler updates understand that, and at least to me, sorting out which are real and which are fake is part of the fun. In summation: to each their own.

Alright people, it's time to set the record straight here. First off, let me begin by stating that the tone of your message, tiger, is pretty bizarre, and while someone like me with an incredibly sick, vulgar, depraved, and disgusting sense of humor may understand the tone of your message and appreciate it?--others probably do not. Lesson #1: know your audience. So let's make nice and try not to be so personal about it, eh? I'm certain you understood the tone of that comment in the spirit in which it was written. If you want to be offensive or combative, try a Personal Message and if some tool reports you, we'll deal with it that way, ok?

Having said that--as usual, Bunny is right and is far more tactful tonight than am I. A spoiler is a spoiler or foiler that is generally leaked from someone at ABC--be it right or be it wrong, jv is merely reporting what he read or heard. If spoilers or foilers offend a reader, it's probably not a big swim across the pond to figure out that they're reading the wrong section of the Board.

You all have fantastic ideas but this isn't kindergarten and there's no need to bash another for his or her ideas or theories, let alone bash one who was merely reporting what one heard or read about the show.

Now, let's all shake hands and be LOST friends speculating about the show before the GDamned hiatus is over. Plant your flag in the sand now about your speculations and theories under the Theories thread--or forever be branded a ride along side-car rider.... it's push time, kiddos. Step up to the plate and lay out what you think will happen the second half of S3.

speculation cheers

You're right that we 'don't' know what the writers are going to do. That's the beauty and fun of a show like that. You seem to be confusing actual spoilers with speculation. As far as I can tell, what's been posted in this thread has been 'semi-official'. That is, it's things that can be traced back to the actual show, either press leaks like Ask Ausello, or casting calls, or something a cast member said in an interview. These may change, and may only end up being partially true. Speculation is what the fans simply make up, like 'zombie Walt'. These are also useful for bouncing theories off of a larger group of people. You can look around the boards and see plenty of that.

the reason that I'm so defensive is that it takes time to compile all these little bits of info into one place, and despite what you seem to think, they've been pretty much what I expected as far as accuracy. There are plenty of people posting false spoilers. In my opinion, JVince isn't one of them. That being said, I don't want to hijack his thread. If you want to start another thread about the accuracy/usefulness of spoilers, feel free.
