The only thing that some what shocked me was thatMichael looked pretty bad, as in beat up.But thats just what I saw. Let me know if you think differently...

ya me too, all though, you never know, maybe he heard Jack. Just a thought, but ya that was kinda lame....Then again I thought the black smoke at first was lame, but like that, there's probably something to this. Maybe the others heard Jack and released Michael?

Yeah me too, and if you have seen the preview for 'two for the road' he is desperately trying to get the losties to go with him to attack the others saying they are hardly armed, could be a trap, he and walt could be in on the whole "operation", just a thought.

Just speculating, but I'd say Michael did find the others like he said... but they also found him. He probably found what he found and has been chased around for a few days (how long has he been gone in island time? a week? two?). And when the Others saw that Jack and Kate were at "the line", Michael saw too... (they must have surveillance cameras or something, right?) and made a break for it.

Or not. I'm sure all will be explained next week. (Ha! Wishful thinking.)
