This is an enormous spoiler...

Reliable sources have revealed the true nature of the numbers that must be keyed in. The numbers are the seat numbers (in the 815 flight plane) of those losties that are going to survive/die in the season 2 finale's catastrophic incident.

so.....that means that Hurley, Rose, Bernard, Jack are going to die in the finale? They are the only ones that are listed in a seat #/aisle that matches any of the numbers

Either that or they will be the ones who survive and Locke, Charlie and Kate will be killed off.

I can't see either happening, even though it has been revealed that there will be a catastrophic event in the finale I can't see them killing off that many characters. There aren't enough survivors of the crash to kill too many people!

There were 48 survivors (give or take now with the tailies, plus the dead. That COULD happen, but your theory of who goes, wouldn't work in this scenario because those I mentoned were in the seat #'s in relation to the "numbers". Charlie and Kate were not in the seat with a magical number on it.

It was more about exploring the options that those on the six rows are the only survivors or that they are cursed. Also remember that it would have huge implications for the extras.

The problem with this is that they can't introduce too many additional survivors as it could mean going over the amount of background characters already shown (even though there are plenty who have only made single appearances.

If you can provide a link verifying the source of the spoiler then I think it would have more validity. Or is it just speculation?

i don't think anyone will die in the finale in the catostrophic event, they already killed one person this season, I think if nething they'll only kill 1 person a season. That's just my personal opinion.

I hope that sort of pattern doesn't develop. I'd rather not wait for "who will die this season". It's better to not know these sorts of things in advance.
