| Michael Ausiello from TV Guide does a weekly column titles "Ask Ausiello" and in this week's online column (here: http://www.tvguide.com/News/Ausiello...mDate=04052006 ) he confirms that Locke and Sawyer have a "surprising link". So... does this confirm the long time speculation that Locke's father is the Real Sawyer? Question: You said that last week's episode of Lost would reveal a surprising link between Locke and Sawyer. What happened? — Ken Ausiello: A line of dialogue was excised to make the link more subtle. But trust me — it's there. Question: Somehow, I don't think that it is a coincidence that Locke's father was a con man just like Sawyer. — David Ausiello: See, Ken — I told you it was there. Sounds like "Lockdown" just became an even Better episode... |

| no offense or anything, but are you on crack? hopefully that was a jokey thing or something. In case you were serious *sigh*...Locke's father is the guy who conned Sawyer's dad. That caused Sawyer's dad to kill his wife and then himself. So Locke's Dad was the original Sawyer (Who James took the name of Sawyer from).

And to be fair, we don't know how long "Sawyer" was working Mrs. Ford... it's not Likely, but it is Possible that they're brothers... Now That would be a "long con". | |

| Ok, now you are just freaking me out! But wouldn't that just be the perfect thing for both those guys!? Locke has no family, Sawyer has no family... then they find out they are family! That would be great!

| Locke appears to be in his forties, Sawyer late 20's. If Lockes dad was 'playing' Mrs Ford, Locke would have been about 20 at that time. Probably about the time he was a toy demo guy. Recon the kid he was showing the toy to (I forget what it was) was actually Sawyer before Dad blew himself and Mom away? Or it could have been Boone. The ages are about the same. 'See you in another life' seems to be coming more and more true for everyone.
