Potential Spoiler - Ep 14, One of Them

In the trailer for One of Them, we see a timer reach zero...could it be a clever use of editing like with Jin speaking English, which turned out to be a dream? Have they found another hatch, which is why Jack is even more convinced it should be allowed to hit zero? The main reason I ask is:

Right you are Oli. That is most certainly a different timer. What could this mean? Call me jaded, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is simply a prop change they thought would be more transparent...

I think it is a pure advertising gimick. We saw it last week when they made the sceene with Hurly and Sayid listening to the radio seem like they were recieving some sort of serious transmitions, or the Jin speaking english bit.

I have to wonder how much control the show's producers have over the creation of the commercials for it. I hate when they basically mislead you by cutting the commercial together in such a way, however it happens so often now days that I am jaded and expect it.

They have openly said that they have no control over the coming attractions. That is purely ABC marketing's sand box. I do think you will find this to be part of Sayid's flashback. It's a nagging suspicion.

Well now, Javier Grillo-Marxuach has been quoted as saying that it IS the same timer. That confuses me because they do look very different.
But come to think of it I remember that there have been a lot of changes in The Hatch since Man of Science Man of Faith so maybe it's just the "new" timer or whatever.
I think it's either that or a dream. I hope it's not a dream. I love this show but I'm sick of dreams
