Woah! Is Eko an "other"!?!?

Okay.... this just hit me as I was mulling over the "MOLE" message on the Hanso website.

"Mole" would imply that someone in the group is a plant... probably by Dharma.

Now, think a moment about Eko's actions... is he a reluctant "mole"?

I don't believe we've seen him in any flashbacks prior to the plane crashing.
He remained rather detatched from the rest of the tailenders on the beach after the crash.
He seemed visibly upset and further withdrawn after he killed some of the attacking others (his own kind?)
He referred to Goodwin as a "good man" after he had tried to kill Ana which would indicate otherwise.
He seems to have a grasp about what's going on and seems to be silently observing people.
There's an unsubstantiated rumour Eko has a Dharma tattoo.

The reason I ask if Eko is a "reluctant" mole is he seems to feel for the lostians. Was he planted there by Dharma and is now having second thoughts about his job?

thats a good question to think about.

don't know if just speculation or confirmed but thought he was a nigerian from the plane crash with drugs. maybe a real priest and didn't know about the drugs aboard, was he alone?

he reminds me more of moses or Asclepius and his staff.

i think danielle looks more of a mole if their is one.

interesting theory to have a mole.

good theory.

but the reason he referred goodwin as a "goodman".
is because anna didnt tell the rest goodwin was an other.
when she came back all she said was "we will be safe now".
i do think he has somthing to do with the drug plane.
but i also think he was on flight 815.how the writers will put these pieces of the jigsaw together
well we will all just have to wait and see.

I would like more information on that. If he does have a Dharma tattoo, then I think anyone near me would get some Candle on them. <---Weak attempt at an Arzt joke.

There are 2 reasons for Ecko not talking.

1.) He killed two men with his bare hands.

2.) They were his best friends and they ordered their murdur.

There are 2 more reasons for him calling Goodwin a good man.

1.) He started their fire.

2.) He also caught their first food, the chicken. To anybody stavering, that qualifys him as a good man.

I just don't think Eko is an other for one reason. How could he get into the water in the "exact" time the Tail section crashed? He would be insane to be waiting already IN the water (we don't see him on the sand at the beggining of The Other 48 Days) for the crash, hehehe.
By the way, in that scene where Ana Lucia begins to cry, we can see some wierd tatoo on Eko's left arm, looks a lot like a Dharma logo, but looks a lot like some african tatoo also. Don't know.
