| Thing #1: Running around the Jungle screaming and yelling, when there are supposedly 'The Others' sneaking around the jungle watching you that want to kill or enslave you??? At various times there are specific reasons not to go thrashing around yelling, like trying to find someone who doesn't want to be found, etc. This episode really takes the cake, though. I mean it was great and all, but there were a couple of sledgehammers up side the head: #1: Desmond knew or should have known better to aid and abet not pushing the button. He *knew* something bad would happen if you don't push the button. #2: Locke is an idiot. It's very easy to push the button. Not pushing the button supposedly causes a possibly worldwide disaster. You can talk about not pushing the button untill you are blue in the face. You can always not push the button *next* time, but once you don't push the button bad things happen (supposedly). Hey, it's like you want to go play Russian Roullette, feel free, but you don't have the right put a gun to *everybody's* head and spin the cylinder and pull the trigger. #3: Locke smashed the video monitor for the computer. It still would be possible to enter the code on the computer blind. *Duh!* I think I'll write up a whole thread devoted to Lost-idiocies... Jim. |
