| Did it bother anyone else that in "SOS" when Bernard was trying to get people motivated to gather rocks, he said something about people looking to Jack who's only a doctor for leadership, and then Rose piped up from behind him, "and you're a dentist"? Given what we'd been shown about the relationship between Rose and Bernard and how supporting and loving they are towards each other, I found it disturbing that she would say that. I understand where the writers were going with the episode, but that comment seemed out of character - more like the sort of snotty remark Sawyer would make. I hope this doesn't mean that Rose will turn out to be a wet blanket, negating everyone's every idea. I've grown fond of thinking of her and Eko and Locke as a sort of spiritual trinity. |

| I sincerely hope we don't see any more of that undermining bitchiness from Rose - it flies in the face of all we've been told about her. Unless, of course, she has some nasty back story, and I hope she doesn't. I'm really tired of writers straining for plot twists by flipping characters. It's what ruined "Alias" for me, and (almost) this season's "24." |

| Member | Though we have yet to see Rose and Bernard, not since last season (majorly S.O.S and Bernard in finale), I would not say Rose is a wet blanket. She was beyond positive, when she and Bernard were apart. She was just scared and she didn't want to be rescued, so she took her frustrations out on the one she loved the most. |
