if you all listen to the jay & jack podcast then one rose theory is rose works for dharma. And in the description for the sos episode rose objects when bernard tries to make an sos on the island. Rose may not want to have an sos becuase she doesnt want to be found becuase she works for dharma!!!!

I don't think Rose is working for Dharma. The reason she doesn't want to be rescued is because she doesn't want to leave the island. She is dying and the island has healed her. If she leaves she could die.

I suppose you would then say that walt is part of Dharma because he burned the raft and didn't want to leave the island? No, i don't think this theory is true.

I agree. I used to think Rose was working for Dharma coz she just acts wierd. But the SOS episode changed that.

Its so obvious!!! What rose and locke have in common is that they were both healed by the island. Rose of her cancer, or what ever she had . And Locke of his being parilized

On the DVD for season 2, it mentions that Rose had a daugther. I do not believe that he was their son, I do not think that it is even a possibility, for the fact that the two haven't been married long enough to have a son in his mid-late 20s.

Either way.. with Rose I basically consider her and Bernard to have been kicked off the show. She and him have been MIA all season long.
