| i went with lotr because i loved the books as well and i am a sucker for fantasy. THis trilogy had eveything for me. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it had love stories and epic battle scenes, and an allstar cast (i though sean aston was amazing and underrated, as well as andy serkis who played gollum) pete jackson did an increible job bringing JRR Tolkiens beloved story to the big screen. (well, i suppose you would expect him to, he does have some resemblence to a hobbit himself). star wars was a close second for me. It revolutionized the way we see special effects and sci-fi movies. (ugh but not the new ones, they were aweful! terribly cheesy lines "Don't make me kill you!".

| Has anyone seen Clerks 2 yet? The scene where Randal gives his version of the rings trilogy? Absolutely hilarious.

The Alien trilogy is a close second. If you sub in Predator vs Aliens for number 3 in both trilogies (Alien and Predator) then you would have a tie in my books for the winner hands down. | |

| Seriously, who voted the Back to the Future triliogy as the best? Are you joking? I only have one thing to say about Army of Darkness: Klatuu Barrata Nikto ![]()
