It's a tricky one.
-Charlie killed Ethan, helped con Locke and DEFIED EKO!
-Desmond is awesome.
-Eko, can stare monsters down, beat up Locke, kills more others than anyone else, caputred Micheal and Saywer, grow up in a City Of God ripoff, not speak for 40 days, spend all his screen time stealing the limelight from everyone else, and with his "Heylow" to Locke, is a condender for best line.
-Fake Henry Gale let himslef get tortured, after getting shot inthe shoulder with an arrow. Tried to kill Ana and conned Locke. Also possibll leads the others.
-Jack beat up Ethan, out ran the monster, burnt one of Saywers books and has magical healing powers, (possibly).
-Kate was on the run for 4-5 years, kiled her dad and is a cool tracker type person.
-Locke, pretty mcuh should win by default until season 2. He stared down the monster, killed boars, got his leg crushed by a blast door, dated Leela, and is Locke.
-Roussoeu has lived alone for 16 years, has survived living on the island, with the monster, bears and others, has built many traps and tortured a torturer.
-Saywer got tortured for no reason, just to piss people off, pulled a bullet out of his shoulder, conned every main charcter and out swam a shark.
-Sayid was a torturer, in the army, and went undercover for the CIA.

It was a tough one between Sawyer and Henry. We also have to remember that Henry stared down the barrel of Sayid's gun and stood there as he shot. If it weren't for Ana-Lucia, he'd be dead.

Sawyer's done some bad-ass stuff, but I have to go with Henry.

Hard call between Eko and Sawyer but gotta go with Sawyer for pulling that bullet out of his shoulder, if nothing else!

Gotta go with Eko - he is not intimidated by anything and very sure of himself.

It was something about Jack's eyes when he was playing cards with Sawyer that made me think we'll be seeing more interesting sides to him later. I think honestly he's the most layered while being capable of more. He carried Kate even after she was shot with the dart and he was too for God's sake. That is Bad-ass. I think he's going to be a pole around which people will side with, or am I the only one who sees a sides/The Stand by Stephen King pick evil or good war a'brewing?
