Tell me.... Will Desmond be incorporated into the cast in Season 3?

I wonder if he will it's kinda strange that he just runs of into the jungle and we never hear about him again.

he did say to Jack, "See you in another life, brother." think that means we'll see him again, maybe not a main character though

my guess is that desmond's "see you in another life" comment is because he is an "other."

i think he's hanso-foundation all the way, and always has been.

i think everyone on the island has been picked by the foundation to be there:

hurley and the real henry were competitors with hansocorp; jack was responsible for the death of someone in the inner circle (maybe hanso himself); kate ripped someone off in the bank job; thf connection with locke's dad's theft; jin and sun's dad - business competitors, again; shannon's father was linked to thf, maybe; etc.

that's why the others know sawyer's real name. they always knew who was on the flight manifest...

I think he'll end up like the French Chick and only show up randomly to advance the plot.

I enjoyed Desmond more than I thought I would. I like how he ads a kind of resigned to his fate/yet still fighting spirit. And hopefully he knows where al the booze is. That's what we haven't got yet: an all camp drinking party.
