How many seasons? - Page 3

as far as I care 20 seasons as long as it stays fresh. Seinfeld did 9, fraiser did 11, those are sitcoms with semi isolated plot lines...so yes i know its not a fair comparrison, but the writing never got stale, even when Larry david left the show. Voyager is a better comparrison...they we lost, and you can only find so many wormholes and time travling phenomenon...but Voyager stayed pretty fresh.

Its all a matter of balance. I feel confident they will end the show when it feels right and they have nothing more to say. if they can make it go on for the next two decades, i will hapilly watch. .

they can do it truman show style. We can see Aaron grow up, and Walt become a man, and our current Losties will become The Others to a new generation.

im 15 so bring on as many series as they can... heck they could do it till im 95

na but if they say they have 8 series worth they sed th in series one so im guessing we are only seeing the tip of the ice berg atm..

I'm hoping they end it after five. That would be a long enough time to properly tell the story. I just hope it doesn't go the same way as Alias where the most interesting storylines are forgotten for several seasons only to be rushed to conclusion at the end (Rembaldi, anyone?)

they will probably leave it on a "number" number of seasons, like 4 or 8 etc.

personally 4 or 5 would be good for me

I think it should end after 4. I believe it will start to drag if it exceeds. Unless, they put some really good material on the following seasons. Still, if they wanted to extend their show longer, the answers must be satisfying enough to the viewers.
