Actually, I gave up on TV in Taiwan three years ago. Sex in the City and Six Feet Under were heavily edited and the other stuff was obscure American movies which are obscure for a good reason and mind-numbing Taiwanese variety shows with stupid sound effects and middle-aged women with horrible wigs and outfits pretending to be 20-something again and singing karaoke...the bad kind, joined by greasy guys in jerri curl mullets and voices like nails scraping a foghorn (is the picture of what TV is like here horrible enough or should I continue?). In the process of giving up TV, I sold my TV and have relied on my laptop for my entertainment center (which includes 2 Logitech Z-2300 speakers with a subwoofer on my laptop) and DVD/VCD library for (uncensored-by-the-Taiwanese-government) TV shows and DVDs.

All in all, I voluntarily gave up my television...or rather, sold it to some unsuspecting FOB...and now have computer games and online message boards to do between episodes of Lost instead of the ubiquitous commercial on whitening creams (for making Asian skin whiter and therefore, less ugly and undesirable, according to the commercials), ugly furniture, "black man" toothpaste, and junk food for kids that I'd be watching if I viewed the show on the local cable system.

I think I did pretty well in getting rid of it.

Aw, man...what was this thread about again?

Just kidding!

Is it just me, or do you all think there's going to be a serious "NOOOO!!!!!" moment in the season finale?

Default Depend on who dies

The only "NO" moment will be based on who dies, because it looks like this finale is the end of one chapter and the start of a new one, not so much a cliff-hanger.

Definately the most NOOOOO moment for me was the thing between Sawyer and Ana-Lucia. I yelled so hard I gave myself a headache!

Default Ana Lucia fans out there?

Ok so am I the only person who loved Ana Lucia?? My NOOOOO moment was when she was shot and didn't miraculously, in a prime time tv sort of way, survive the gunshot and kick Michael's sorry butt. She will be missed... now all I've got is Kate... Ms. "follow us into the jungle even though we told you not to and screw everything up !"

My favorite "NOOOOOOO!!!!!" moment came from when Locke was late on entering the numbers (while Sayid was interrogating Fenry). It was cool to hear something start reving up with the heiroglyphics appearing on the timer, but Locke entering the numbers and everything resetting made me yell at the tv. I wanted to see another "incident" happen
